I was able to start creating within minutes. This bundle comes with a self powered sound board, a shock mounted condenser mic, and plenty of cables. Right out of the box, it has everything needed for recording/streaming to an Android device. You will need a standard 3.5mm adapter for it to work with an iPhone.I’ve tried recording and streaming with the included mic. I didn’t have high hopes for a bundled mic, but it works surprisingly well on karaoke mode with plenty of volume and clarity. The sound profile is quite neutral and flat on other modes, so you’ll have to use the sweet spots directly in front or behind it. I then tried using it like a dj table at a yard party but the mic was picking up all kinds of feedback from the loudspeaker, so use your own mic for that. When I connected my Shure to it, it sounded fantastic.Accompanying instrument and included sfxs mixes smoothly. Bluetooth is really convenient and I find myself using it a lot. Output via usbc to phone picked up straight away without any installation. Volume adjustment feels consistent.All in all very impressed with the value and the amount of options it gives you.

A little context: I work with high end recording, live sound and streaming equipment on a daily basis.My first impression upon opening the box is that it feels fragile. I like metal and heavy equipment. I will say that this is designed to be ultraportable. The external sound card has a built in battery. But the plastic build for this and the microphone will not stand up to the rigors of persistent and constant streaming.Buy this because it is fun. Buy it because it is affordable. You can do a lot with it. An external mic, headphone inputs. Phone inputs. Voice changer. Bluetooth receiver. Add some reverb. Sound effects. All are easy to understand and accessible.Remember: this is not high end, professional equipment. It’s for beginners who are wanting a feature-packed assortment to help with upgrade their online streaming audio.My favorite feature is plugging it straight into my iPad via USB-C for completely portable recording. I have many other interfaces that I use for my MacBook. This was the first time I gave it a go via GarageBand and it worked well.Bottom line, 4/5 because I know the fun can’t last forever!

A surprisingly fun tool I could see being a great option for on the go podcasting. The interface has some really cool features that work quite well. The ability to charge it and go anywhere with it is really cool. The microphone is surprisingly nice. It looks and feels good and it really does a great job all around. If plugged into my computer and was easy to use there as well, but I think its true brilliance is just how well it works standalone just hooked to your phone to record a podcast. I have fun using it.

The constant buzzing wasn’t just distracting—it was a full-on assault on my sanity. My podcast dreams? Crushed under the weight of that relentless BZZZZZZ.And the microphone? It’s so heavy, it turned the included stand into a sad, wobbly noodle. I spent more time rescuing the mic from tipping over than actually recording anything. If you’re into the sound of chaos punctuated by loud crashes, this might be for you!To sum it up: this bundle is a scam in a box. Save your money, your sanity, and your podcasting dreams. Unless you’re starting a podcast called Things That Buzz and Break, steer clear. Negative five stars.
