Q: Will this board float?

The medical board is pretty thin.Not intended to be used at the pool, beach, or lake.

Q: How long and wide is the board

71 1/2 inches by 22 wide. Works very well for sliding the patient from one flat surface to another. Just please remember that this is not a device for lifting. The cut-outs are made for holding on when you slide the patient. There are other devices for lifting the patient from one place to another.

Q: Does this slider board(patient transfer board) have a weight limit?

I think it’s 500 pounds. We use it a lot on the larger population and it’s always worked great

Q: What is this board made of. Fabric or plastic? I am looking for a hard base to put on the bed for exercise resistance as the mattress is too hard.

It’s a hard plastic. I’m not sure it will work so well for exercising... u might be sliding on it a lot as it is a transfer board
