Q: Is there somewhere to fasten the pet for when you want to leave the top open so they don’t jump out

No, I hooked a small thin lead/chain to it on the side bar and put the chain under the cushion.. It works great and keeps him in there with no problem. Love the stroller, but that’s one thing they missed, is putting hooks in there to secure pets.

Q: Does the top section opening unzip more than just half-way? Can it be opened completely?

It opens in the shape of a U, giving the pet ample room to look out. It does NOT have a hook to secure the animal, so you would have to make one on your own.

Q: Can you see your pet from the back or top while pushing it?

From the top you can see you're cat.

Q: how does the pet get into the lower carrier? Do you remove the top one or does the front panel open up so they can walk in?

The lower part opens in the back for access.
