Read the reviews and well it is better than most people say it is. The instructions that come with the unit are almost useless and do not provide any real instruction. Personally I found it simple and compact, easy to use. Inbox unit,, install Bluetooth antenna, connect speaker wires, FM antenna, connect power cable and you are up and running. Using this at our camp and its FM receiver is better then the boom box we used for years. As for the people that have issue with the Bluetooth I did not experience any of the reported issues. Pairing is easy, change mode to BLUE and the display flashes, go to Bluetooth on phone and search devices, it shows up as LP-269S, pair device, allow and I was off and streaming. So far I have been as far as 20-25 feet from the device and streaming music never missed a beat. Have not tried media streaming as of yet but for our use it is not something we do. As far as sound qualiry it is clean and the unit has plenty of power to drive the 4 speakers two inside and two on porch. It's not a rock concert but it easily gets the job done. I have not seen any heat issues. Unit is running cool after several hours of use.. The only thing I wish it had was a switch to allow speaker selection. This would be the icing on the cake.

I purchased the Lepy LP269S. I'm happy to report there is ZERO hiss even at full volume. It's easy to hook up and the remote is a great addition. When powdered off and back on it starts the SD card file playing without hitting play. This is exactly what I wanted. Light weight which means a small amp but it still get plenty loud. Low profile and black so it's easy to hide, I'm using it in a haunt. There are mounting holes on each side. Now to see how long it it last.

I am planning to use this in an RV where I run it off my house batteries. I plan to stream things via bluetooth to the amp. I am currently testing it with a single super old radio shack (Realistic) mini speaker, probably 30 years old. It sounds great. I have tried the FM and it does work but not sure how well. I have not extended the antenna to full length but it seems ok but not great. That isn't what I am interested in, bluetooth streaming is. That has been more than fine. I have a Kilowatt connected to the AC power supply with one speaker. I turned everything up to the max volume (FULL BLAST) and at that point, the audio sounds pretty distorted. The kilowatt max peak reading I saw was 13W. The average was a lot less than that. On the amp, it says 45 W R.M.S. First, RMS does not apply to power measurements. That is wrong as power is already an average (I am saying there is no such thing as Watts RMS). Second, they claim 45W x 4 to get 180W. Third, I saw a peak of 13W, not an average. The average is a lot lower than 13W. I don't see how they can possibly claim 180W. So there are some specsmanship lies being told here but it does sound pretty decent at lower power levels. It will produce a LOT less audio power than claimed and it is not anywhere close to an audiophile's dream. It is well worth the $48 I paid for my purposes, however. Think of this thing as a bluetooth speaker with 4 big speakers that runs on 12V that sounds pretty decent. That is why this gets 5 stars from me.I didn't try to use AUX in or USB/SD card input so I can't speak to how well these features work. I have no reason to say those features would not work as claimed. I can only say the bluetooth streaming to this device is fine with a much reduced audio power than claimed.

The RCA cable that (looks) cut is the fm antenna. Other posts about this unit states a cut cable, but this is an antenna wire.

Used in our rv for tv external speaker usage due to its remote function. Worked during initial setup and maybe 2, 1 hr watching sessions, now does nothing but illuminate. Put old lots cheaper simple amp back in place it works great. Would return if possible but have owned it too long to return but only maybe 2 hrs of use.

This thing is garbage, I bought it 2 months or so ago and it’s just not working.1. The unit gets really hot, so hot that if you touch the metal behind the volume knob you will burn yourself and I can’t help but wonder what that does to the wires on the inside.2. After 2 months there’s something weird going on with the volume knob, when in transit my drivers side speakers just stop working but if I put a little bit of pressure on the volume knob they work just fine.3. This is not single din, it’s like 7/10ths of a din so I would figure out a spacer, just don’t cover the vents on the top. I used a couple pieces of cardboard.The only reason this pos gets two stars is for volume level, my truck is loud this thing drowns out any noise coming from my engine. And it made me happy for 2 months

I used this to replace a 1996 200 watt Pioneer Receiver that was radiating massive heat at my desk even when it was in standby mode. This new unit has literally no heat and it does everything my receiver did. I still get about the same volume (running 4 speakers) as i did before and it saved a lot of space on my desk. i will buy another one for my bedroom tv/sound system fairly soon. i showed it to a friend and he wants one to mount on a large speaker for his porch.. i may do that myself for the garage. i love this thing!
