Me and my daughter love playing it. The instructions are very good, but we also watched a YouTube video that also helped out. It's easy to miss a step.

I loved the idea of this game, a book game based on a story that I love! Sounds perfect, right? But I was a little bit disappointed in the actual playability. Some pages are way too easy if you play according to the rules, while others (like page 3 I believe it is, where Dorothy is finding scarecrow, tin man and lion) are near impossible if you play the rules as outlined. Still, the nostalgia is there for sure. I just don't know how often we'll actually play it.

This present made a great gift and an immersive experience for my mother-in-law. She is a big fan of the Wizard of Oz.I feel inclined to say that the game is more complicated than I thought and requires reading and explanation beforehand, but it's also a much more unique experience than other basic boardgames that are simply Clue or Monopoly with some trademark slapped on top of it.
