Mr Bonné has compiled two volumes in one box set. One is about recommended producers, the other about the various regions in France. Engrossed in it already I have learnt a lot of new names to look for.

I've always loved the pieces by Jon for Punch and i've been eagerly awaiting this new book. It's perfect. Any modern wine drinker should own a copy.

This is the spiritual successor to Andrew Jefford's the new France, only it's 3 times the size. Everything I've read so far is brilliant.I genuinely think this will be the bench mark reference text on French wine for the next decade.
