SOLID BED FRAME
The bed is GREAT. Extremely solid, no wobble and no squeaking. It's also VERY heavy, but I consider that a good thing. As for the instructions, they look simple and there's a CGI video but there's a lot you need to figure out.To save you the trouble:Our mechanical Allen wrench/ratchet didn't work. Thankfully, there is a spare L shaped one in the container with the screws.Though the instructions show the parts by letters, they are not labelled on the pieces. Only the connections labelled with numbered stickers. This makes it very easy to get the connections right. The only part that was a bit confusing was the wood going into the head board slats. Just ensure the decorative side of the wood with the grooves is flush with side metal pieces. The smooth side of the wood is the back and it is recessed slightly in the metal frame. The instructions must be older because the wood screws into 4 metal 'tabs' but the instructions make it look like 2 long tabs. You'll know it when you see it.Everything lined up easily and all the screws fit easily. All screws are labelled and there are extras.BUT you will need at least 2 people, preferably 3, as you'll have to prop up some sides while putting it together. For ours the head board posts would not slot into the base without some series elbow grease. For the first step, you'll need to UNSCREW the nuts that the long rails 'hang/slot' onto. Then you can tighten them. This took us a while to figure out as it's not indicated in the instructions and no other parts have this feature.Lastly, when you start to lay down the slats, start on the Velcro. Do NOT start on the edges or you'll have a gap.I know that seems like a lot but it really is easy if you have the help and take your time. It took me and my 2 young kids about 1.5 hours but if we knew the above it would probably have taken less than an hour.Bed is SOLID and I'm really happy with it. It's amazing to get something this great for the price.Don't hesitate to buy it!

Looks good and is sturdy.
Little lower to the ground than I was expecting. You wouldn't be able to store anything under the bed. But easy to assemble and looks great in my spare room. Cost effective way to have a nice piece of furniture

Ordered this bed 7 years ago and it’s still working perfectly in the spare. Many have used it with no complaints. Looks good

Slow customer service but SOLID FRAME
Very un-reliable customer service. If you have any kind of problem with this company, Zinus, you will not get any support.Mine comes without the legs for the centerpiece which is supporting the slates. Which means, slates can not hold a mattress at all, especially the king size.Zinus' support and help at the website are all silenced. NO Emailed back, NO Phone call back, NO Response for missing part claim. NOTHING. SO BEWARE.I can return it but this heavy frame is not easy to pack again. Spent extra money for support legs and set up the new frame without own pieces.UPDATE : 05/08/251 STAR > 4 STARSFinally i received support legs. I could not use my bed (frame+mattress) for a week because there is no support for the weight of the slats, mattress and my body. Slow customer service is not the only reason that I subtract 1 star from the review. There are more damages I can find when every pieces are laying on the floor. 2 corners and inside of a wooden piece at the foot side. I bought and covered it with rubber corner protector (what I was already planning to buy anyway) and taped the broken wood piece with gorilla tape (no one can see once it's set up - it's inside). The frame is SOLID. That's all I want. Not so many metal frames with wooden slats in the market. I wish you luck.

GOOD QUALITY! But it was a little challenging to assemble.
I’m very happy with the quality. I needed a LOW platform bedframe due to my husband’s bad back for easier on/off. I bought the low version (37 inch model) and it is low; so, if LOW isn’t what you want, make sure you get the higher version.Just a side note as well, there were height questions I personally had, and hopefully this will provide the answers if you were confused on how low this bed is:The 37 inch is not the height of the (bed) frame where your mattress goes, 37 inch is the height of the headboard. The (bed) frame itself is very low. I measured and the (bed) frame’s height is 7 inches off the ground. Once you lay down your mattress, you will add another 5-8 inches of height (for anyone who wants the math for evaluating how high when getting in/out of bed). I purposely bought the LOW bedframe because I did not want to exceed 14 inches in total when combining frame and mattress. Get your tape measure out and add 7 inches+your mattress’s height together to see how will this work for you. Hope this long math analysis gives you a visual. Now onto sturdiness and assembly…My husband and I toss and turn around in the bed a lot; once assembled, it doesn’t squeak or move around which is a plus. Very sturdy once assembled. However, it was a bit of a pain to assemble due to the angles where screws need to go in (angles were awkward where you need to tighten) and it was a challenge to align everything correctly to the point you needed 2 people; each person holding parts at opposites ends to align and lock, and some angles you need to sort of have to use a lot of force. However, this bedframe should last many years. If you are really good at putting things together, perhaps the assembly be fine. But for an average person, it will challenging.

Excellent customer service!
I bought this frame a few years ago and then moved cities. Unfortunately I lost some parts in the move, but Zinus was kind enough to replace the lost parts and I really appreciate that. 10 out of 10 service for sure!
