Solgar Glucosamine MSM Complex Tablets - Bone, Joint, and Cartilage Care - Shellfish Free - Gluten Free, Pack of 1 , 60 Tablets

The jury is out on Glucosamine and how effective it is in use, however, it's not something I need to take regularly and I don't. Having said that, I have only bought 2 or 3 bottles in the last 10+ years and only when I've had a cartilage issue due to injury and they have been a part of the process during that period.This time round I went for the Solgar option as they a) Solgar and b) shellfish free.You can swap those positions around, as they are both very important. If a plant can help my knee, I'd rather let that shellfish be a shellfish, than me be selfish :)I am older now than when I first tried Glucosamine supplementing, and that was because the pain and lack of confidence in the motion (knee at that time) was taking a very long time to recover and it made a difference in a few months, as opposed to the non-supplementing 6 months.Having felt a one-off recurrence of that random out of nowhere 'collapse' you feel in a normal stride, I bought these and started to take 7 a week, to 5 a week to 3 a week and now every few weeks and not had a problem since.If you notice any slight weakness or an 'empty instability' when you have pivoted, might be worth taking this preventative step, rather than ignore it and blindly encounter an unforgettable step somewhere in the future, that one is definitely not worth the hassle.

Good quality

Could use only the half of the tablets. Pretty bad allergic reaction developed on my legs. Stopped taking them and the allergic reaction disappeared.

Good product to aid the joints

Have used this product for some time but have a job getting it in shops so found it very easy to order online.Good for aching joints but takes a while to get into the system.Solgar is expensive for all its products but well worth the extra.

I should of read up about them before. I bought them not suitable for me with asthma ! I would read up on this combination before using ! I believe it can cause problems health wise if taken without investigation or ask your doctor !

More bioavailable than many supplements I've seen. Doesn't take much to get used to taking them three times a day.

This is NOT tripple strength (as advertised on the cover image), hence the lower price. It's a genuine product, and I am not unhappy with it, but disagree with the representation as now will have to take more pills to get the desired dose. Please see attached what you're getting.
