Q: How do I order them in green? There doesn't seem to be any way of specifying colour

As you are aware, they are sold with interchangeable shells, a camouflaged shell and a brightly coloured shell, so you can use the same headset in any environment safely.One model comes with Black and Red shells, while the other comes with Green And Orange shells.So the product you are looking at is not the one you want because it has Black (and therefore also red) shells.Please enter the following Amazon reference ( B001TPR6ZM ) into the amazon search bar and you will find the Green model with orange shells.Hope this helps.Regards,Best4Systems

Q: im extremely sensertive to sound and find alsrms very painful . i no i need to hear our smoke alarm its connected to my panic alarm .

These are a great set of ear protection I wear normal cupped peltor ear protection in work daily and find it hard to hear anybody talking while I use my tactical sport shooting I find them comfortable and I can hear people fine while the bang of the shoot is fazed out . Well worth the money best buy yet !!!

Q: Do you have these in Green or Black? as I don;t want them in Red

They come with 2 sets of shells. There are 2 packages available. Red & black or green & orange.If you don't want the red shells, then you should purchase the green & orange variant.

Q: Hi, exactly how quickly does the sound protection cut in?

As near as dammit instantaneous, I've never noticed any delay at all. I use mine when clay pigeon shooting and they seamlessly block the loud sounds but allow you to hold a conversation with others.
