Great EDC Knife
As I've said on a previous review (Cadet) I love Victorinox.I bought this to replace my ageing Wenger knife which has seen better days and in my opinion is not as good quality as Victorinox. That said Victorinox own Wenger as of 2005 and mine pre-dates the acquisition. This knife measures about 92mm in length, its part of the larger size of knives from the Victorinox range which make up most of their Swiss Army knife products. I was debating on whether to get this model or not. I actually originally wanted the Mountaineer Lite which had the LED light on it but can't get it without paying stupid sums of money for it.This knife weighs in about 100g in weight which is a great EDC weight. Its got four layers and the build quality is just superb. The model is the same as the Huntsman but has a metal file replacing the wood saw blade. The main blade and smaller blade are surgically sharp out of the box, its got the metal file, scissors, can opener, reamer and carry hook in addition to the usual big screw driver, cap lifter etc. The carry hook is a little difficult to deploy but don't envisage using it very often - if at all.I made two modifications to mine since purchase. I added a pin to it as there is still a hole behind the corkscrew for it to slide into and I added a micro screw driver as its of no real weight and fits straight into the corkscrew when not in use.I actually prefer this model in some ways to the Swiss Champ (SC) which I also own. The SC is nearly double the weight and double the width and you do feel the extra weight when carrying it about. On the whole I love this thing !TC

What can you say, it's a Swiss army knife, solidly built, quality materials, the brand speaks for itself

Excellent tool as you would expect.
Excellent tool as you would expect for this well known brand. I upgraded from the smaller version which only has a blade, screwdriver & scissors (tooth pick & tweezers) to this one, still use it on a key ring. The smaller of the 2 blades & scissors are the most used items for me.

Great knife, but I can't find 18 tools
This is a sturdy, well made tool which claims to have 18 tools on it. I cannot find four of them. I cannot find the nail file, either the the reamer or the punch and sewing awl, toothpick , and the tweezers. I am sure that when I bought it it was said to include a wire stripper but I notice it no longer includes that. The file does have two sides but the files seem to be identical and would not seem to be suitable as a nail file. The reamer, punch, sewing awl, and toothpick could all be the same tool, but I would not recommend using it as a tooth pick. It is very sharp. There is no sign of tweezers.I am delighted to say that, since I first published the above review, the description now includes pictures showing where everything is. So I now have the tweezers and the toothpick, and the nail-file is indeed the same as the metal file. It works fine as a nail-file, but it is very coarse and sharp. I see the wire stripper but it has no sharp edges to cut the insulation and I feel its usefulness is limited. I'm still not sure about the reamer.
