I love this soldering iron kit, I have spent more money on the last five I bought that broke and didn't have the features this iron and this includes a kit and it's adjustable with a meter also heat's up fast and can get hotter for different types of solder, great warrantee and free next day delivery, awesome deal and a great place to buy it from I'm thinking about buying a few more for gifts.It's a outstanding deal.

There were not a lot of reviews on this item but I decided to give it a chance because the company had some good reviews on their other soldering equipment. Very pleasantly surprised. For this cheap it works great. Especially at higher temperatures in comparison to other irons I have used. Remember to regularly replace your solder iron tips and to clean them because this can contribute to melting issues but if you take good care of this iron it seems to last. Bought almost half a year ago and use it regularly, for the price I have gotten my use out of it already.

Opened the box and the dial window fell off the digital display. Tried it with the smallest tip bit, ( light stippling), and after 5 minutes the bit came loose.Comes with an assortment of stippling bits and templates proprietary to the iron which will probably not use. Apart from this, used it for some light stippling and it worked.Would not recommend for long term heavy usage

Works good. Heats up quickly and easy to handle. Just what I was looking for.

I don't much like this one, I liked my old one better,but figured they vented this one, where my other had failed from heat, so vents seemed like a good idea, although they seem useless ans the grip still gets hotter than one would think normal and sometimes uncomfortable to hold, also one of the segments in the display is bad, so it doesn't display right, also no option like others to calibrate or change temprature from C°/F°, very last, while holding it's way too easy to accidentally change the set temprature which it only has like 5 set points unlike my last you could set it wherever, it's too easy to hit off +or-, it's pretty irritating infact to accidentally turn off your iron in the middle of something.When I got it the heating element would not slide all the way into the soldering tip, which prevented it from working as well as it should, I ended up slightly modifying it so that the element didn't just smash the end of the tip but was closer to it and it worked a lot betterThe buttons can and have fallen out,as the keepers I guess, are just kinda pressed in there to hold thr actual plastic button, the whole thing is jiust kind of mickey mouse, I would bot use this in front of coworkers,lol, anhow....Cheers

Very well built great project kit

I bought this for the wood burning part. There is absolutely no way for any of the wood burning tips to screw in/attach in any way to the tool. Looking at the pictures, everything is there but there is no connector piece. It is completely useless for wood burning.
