Makes the best burgers ever!
To be honest, I thought this item was a bit of a gimmick. I mean, who wants to make individual burgers, surely that takes lots of time. I was so wrong. With the chef remi burger press, the possibilities are endless and once you have made your mince base (I made mine with Aberdeen Angus mince, herbs, egg, diced onion and a splash of Worcester sauce) you then have the option of adding anything. So using the solid flat bottom base I put in a thin layer of the base mince then added smoked bacon medallions x2, then another layer of mince, on top of the mince I put a little bit of lazy chilli. Using the burger press top I pushed down and then tipped out my burger. As you can see from the photos they are a great size and when cooked in the George foreman they do not shrink. Other options I made were blue Stilton inside, another with chorizo and jalapenos. The Chef Remi Burger Press washes up easily and can then be stored away back in its box. My family agreed they were the best burgers they had ever tasted. I cannot wait for warmer weather so I can thrill my guests with my delicious burgers at a BBQ thanks to Chef Remi's burger Press.

Excellent, turn up making the shape of the burger so easy to use to put on the fryer. So glad I brought it and it’s good for the price.

Good gadget for the kitchen.
Very simple and easy to use, I found you will need a piece of grease proof paper to place on the bottom for them to come out easily, I found that you can reuse the same one over and over again when frying or bbq on the day.If you want to pre-press the burgers and freeze them I found that if you pre-cut the greaseproof paper beforehand using the press as a template it will save you time and make it easier when taken out of the freezer. It Is made from solid aluminum, everything is metal apart from the wood handle this is not going to break or wear out anytime soon. Both parts are ridged so your hamburgers will be ridged on both sides. Easy to use and easy to clean and store away :)Great Buy!!

Wonderful metal burger press
I am very impressed with this burger press and I am looking forward to creating my own wonderful burgers. The press is very sturdy and each side of the press has the ridges which indent into your burgers to give them the traditional chargrilled burger look. This press is a good size so you can make good sized burgers with it and you can unscrew the handle so you can store the press easier when not in use.

Excellent well made burger press
Very well made product that is super easy to clean. I use this to press bean and veggie patties into a real burger shape. Set them in the fridge for an hour so they firm up and your left with a better than shop brought veggie burger. Non stick means it is easy to clean but a top top (for those of you who still use cling film / food wrap) a small piece for each burger inside the press before filling with the mixture makes the whole process even easier since they can be stored without sticking to each other and you wont then have to clean the burger press at all

Not for me
It’s not badly made.My problem with it is that the mixture sticks to the press and this makes it more difficult to use than forming burgers by hand, at least that is my experience. (With or without using burger discs).Maybe I didn’t give enough of a chance, because in the years that I have had it it’s only been used three or four times, or maybe that’s because it’s so difficult to use.

Great Burger press
I always make my own burgers, but they nearly always fall in bits . I have just made some chicken burgers, chicken, onion, grated cheese and seasoning., Put them in the press and out came lovely shaped firm burgers. They were delicious. I did have to put some oil in the press, because my mixture was very moist. Just pop in the dish washer when finished.

Good novelty item for gifting and occasional use
Bought as a gift and tested by the giftee. Works well to press in equal proportions but a little too fiddly for making multiple burgers. Fun as a novelty or occasional use item.
