Incredible book
Highly recommended! The book is informative, clear to understand, and written with a kind tone of voice. You feel completely supported and encouraged to make the necessary changes needed for your well-being. Linda even gives advice on what to do after reading this book to continue to improve your mental health.

Fantastic compendium of knowledge
This book is a comprehensive guide to understanding what gaslighting really is and how there are often signs of gaslighting so that it can be quickly identified. She uses examples in a variety of contexts and then focuses on helping the reader look at ways in which they can deal with the situation - whether that includes leaving the relationship or implementing boundaries. She highlights in chapter 4 that it doesn't matter whether it was unintentional or due to some (un)known diagnosis that they did this but the closure is only from the grieving of the relationship rather than trying to get them to acknowledge what they have done. The best advice that I took from this book was about safety nets/safe people and identifying gas lighters before building relationships with them. A good read.

Great information to have
Only received the book in the last couple of days. Havent read much yet, but what I have read rings so many bells! I had read about NPD online, but it is much better to have in print and on hand so that you can refer to it, especially if you are still in contact with your NPD. I will be using the book to learn and grow, and this book will be useful for those times when you want to make excuses, forgive, give them another chance, because their behaviour is right in front of your eyes in this book in back & white. I look forward to reading & learning from the rest of the book in my recovery journey. I only gave 4 stars as have not read it all, but will revisit the review when I have. Some reviewers have commented on poor editing, etc, but so far there have only been a few.

Valuable information
The information in this book is fantastic and super helpful. I had the opportunity to be an early reviewer of Linda Hill’s books and I am so grateful I did.I knew her ADHD workbook but had no idea of the other subjects she writes about.Everything in this book is so valuable and I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of recovery from these issues, or even if you know someone who does as it will give you an understanding of their needs too.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

It will be okay
Easy read of powerful topic. It was enlightening; thought provoking; and it’s the one I need to keep reading and referring to as an absolute essential tool to keep me focused whilst separating from my narcissistic husband. I am remembering the person I once was…. And will be again!.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
