Excellent powered thunderbolt 4 Dock
I bought this to extend the number of thunderbolt 4 ports on my Mac Studio. The 3 thunderbolt 4 ports work exactly as specified. and it also provides an additional three usb3 ports as well as a LAN port. It has worked perfectly, no dropouts or other problems. It appears a solid and well made device.

Expensive but powerful
Not cheap, but charges the MacBook Air much quicker using this than the previous USB-C Hub. Having an issue with flickering occurring on a Logitech Streamcam which I can’t seem to resolve and doesn’t happen when plugged directly into the laptop, hence 4 stars. Mounted under my desk with ports accessible, very neat solution to keeping cables to a minimum.

When it works its OK - reliability is a problem
Its a good solid product and when it works it meets my needs.Occasionally it disconnects - especially when my MacBook sleeps - but its intermittent - annoying but I can live with it.The bigger problem is that one of the TB ports failed after three months (and fixed by OWC) and now after nine months the entire dock has failed.Support is well meaning but a bit flakey - they sent me the wrong power cable - twice - when fixing the port problem.

Pricey but high quality
Bought this dock a tool to easily switch peripherals (including video over USB-C and thunderbolt drives) between my desktop PC and laptops. For that it has worked very well.It has a lot of ports and also supports power over its main thunderbolt connection which can keep your laptop charged while connected. You can probably find cheaper alternatives which are almost as good but this is one of the best docks you can get.

Expensive but meets all its specifications unlike cheaper socks
Even though I questioned my sanity in going for this considering it was more expensive than many other docks I am glad I did absolutely no problems with it works with all my usb add ons even when all ports are maxed

Everything just works out of the box - on both PC and Mac.
Works really well out of the box, no configuration needed. No glitches, fast response when connected, doesn't get too hot. Provides plenty of power - charging is fast.My setup:- Dual 4K 60Hz monitors connected via USB-C (DP alt mode, not Thunderbolt)- A bunch of USB peripherals- Linux laptop (Dell XPS 15)- M1 Pro Macbook
