In my opinion, this chair is more a vintage style than 'retro'. Because of it's timeless look, it fits in with most decors. I was able to assemble it by myself, the instructions are basic but adequate as its not complicated. The chair is notably very, very sturdy and comfortable compared to self assembly chairs I have purchased in the past. The chair is very reasonably priced for the quality and I could not be more pleased!

This chair is an excellent addition, and is currently in our bedroom but could easily go in the lounge too. The instructions to make it were terrible but now it's made its great. The cushioning is a bit thin so it wouldn't suit those who like a really soft chair without adding extra padding. The material is nice and true to colour. The back of the chair is just tall enough to rest your head back on and the overall size is compact but still large enough if you are plus sized.

Only arrived and assembled yesterday so cannot comment on durability but it was easy to assemble with clear instructions. A nice looking piece of furniture

This chair is wonderful, ignore the reviews that state they are hard. Yes the chair is firm but there is give in it, I use it all the time for reading and keeping me upright. I love it and would recommend it to anyone.

It looks really lovely and for me it’s comfy however it was a real pig to put together and I was using a ratchet. Not all holes for the screws matched up and it was labelled wrong so L was right and vice versa. The front legs don’t seem to fit correctly and it wobbles but I’ve managed to sort that out. The quality of the fabric is there, Shane it’s so difficult to put together which I didn’t expect being a basic chair.

Really pleased with this chair and it's a good price, easy to put together I did it while my husband was in the garden, great price too.
