Keeps the bananas in really good condition in the fridge. The skin goes dark but it doesn’t affect the banana.

It does what it says. Make sure the bananas are a bit green when you put them in the bag as they will go brown quickly if they are too ripe and browning. Have had my ones in the fridge now for over two weeks and they have yellowed a bit but taste perfectly firm and fresh.

Keeps bananas fresh and stops them over-ripening. If you keep them in the fridge too long the skins do go a bit grey, but better than black squishy bananas. Still not sure what the string is for, as it isn't a draw-string and the loop is on the other side!

Bag is ok but as others have said the cord came off on first use I tied it to the loop and seal the bag that way. Keeps bananas longer.

I had been told to store bananas in the fridge preventing the rapid deterioration as I cannot bear the black bruised skinned mush they become and then remembered I had seen this bag previously. So I bought it and am happily still eating my good 'nanas two weeks later!!! Yes over two weeks and they are still as firm as I like them. The skin has minor discolouration but not as much as when I kept them out of the bag. I'm careful to leave the bag near the front rather than the sides of the fridge, but not where it will be bashed or frequently manoeuvred. The bag can be tied up by wrapping the cord around the top, maybe not as expected but it works.

Good roomy bag to fit a bunch of bananas. Well made and will keep bananas safe in the fridge.

Received bag with usual Amazon efficiency.The draw string fell out by itself as it had come apart from the bag without me using it! The string fastening is useless. It is not drawstring as I thought but some loop and string arrangement which is hopeless as its slipping off the bag.As for the bananas, I don't like bananas in the fridge and you are supposed to store the bag in the fridge - something I didn't know prior to purchase.I don't believe the over ripening of the bananas is lessened by the bag, or at least in three days I have seen the usual deterioration in the bananas despite using the bag.Disappointed, sorry

This was a replacement for a Lakeland banana bag. Very cheap in comparison but regrettably not as good as my previous obesity. The cord came away from the bag on first use! It does the job but there is no drawstring top for easy closure. You get what you pay for.
