Came in VERY HEAVY box. I was shocked. The whole thing just screams quality. The magnets are shockingly strong and some of them require 2 hands to detach. Magnifier and light work very well. I was debating between this and the cheaper small one from Sainsmart. I was questioning whether I overspent. But just beyond belief at the quality of this thing.There’s literally only 3 things I can think of to improve it:- Optional rubber grip on the PCB holder clamps. Right now it’s hard slippery plastic so PCB can move a bit between the wedges.- A brighter light would be nice- Don’t ship the mat rolled up since it will take a very long time to flatten out againThat’s it. Beyond that it’s absolutely perfect and well beyond my expectations at this price point.

I bought this for my husband to do his projects on. He is a ham radio hobbyist, who takes apart radios and fixes them. When taking apart a radio, screws and other components all on his workbench. I had seen this mat on a electronic you tube channel and felt he needed that. A cushioned mat for the radio. The several compartments for the screws, and other tiny electronic parts that come off. He can 'see' the components when stored on the mat as opposed just on his workbench. He purposely melted the solder on the mat to see if it would melt. Nope, it did not. He loves it and wished he had gotten one sooner,

I just received this today so I can’t speak for longevity, but it is very high quality! I appreciate the nice packaging with plastic and three rubber bands to keep it nicely packed in the box. It is thick, clean and thank you for no chemical smell!! It came with the anti static band which I have yet to use. The color is more of a light grey rather than what I thought was white. Not sure about the heat yet as I just started learning to solder. But I love the organization of the screws and cutouts for my future projects. Will update my review if anything changes. But for now 5 stars!!

Solid and good quality, apart the soldering iron holder - we had the same in high-school (35 years ago)
