I ordered this book March 2013 after it caught my eye in a book store. It sat on my shelf for over a year and I finally started reading it April 2014. Today I just finished this book. When finally complete, I burst into tears. I had to fall to my knees and thank God for bringing this book into my life.This book will make you cry, laugh, repent, and hope. It will make you feel guilt and sorrow from your past, it will make you raise your standards for relationships, it will make you cry out to God to take and restore your love life.I started this book right at the end of a break up. I was so desperate for help and understanding. This book completely changed the way I approach relationships. It helped me realize why it didn't work out with the guy I dated. It helped me have JOY that the relationship ended. I have always been the type of person to cycle through relationships, looking for meaning and purpose through them. This book helped me fall in love with God. I am so thankful to be single and invite Him to take complete control of my life. Now, I can wait patiently if He chooses to bring a Christ-like man into my life. I won't settle for less.If you have been through heartbreak, if you have never found fulfillment in your relationships, if you have been left confused and lost in the relationship arena....please read this book. Your eyes will be open to complete truths, and you will be forever changed.

Easy to read and understand book about allowing God to choose your mate. So many teens and adults for that matter seem desperate for a relationship, any relationship in some cases. It seems their identity is all wrapped up in the relationship and the focus and energy is maintaining the relationship, even if it's unhealthy. This book shares the authors dating disasters and the desperation so many folks have. The authors finally realize their identity must be in Jesus Christ and not in some relationship. The authors hand over the reins of their love lives to God and allow Him to write their love story. The book is authentic and offers solid tips on how to achieve peace of mind when the Creator of the Universe is in charge of this important area. The book's theme might be: Do you want to settle for less than what God has planned? I read the book after a college student raved about it and agreed--it's a fantastic book. We bought 3 copies, one for each child and a household copy which we're planning to share with others. My husband is currently reading a copy. When he's finished we'll give each child their own copy, ask them to read, and we'll discuss it afterwards. I believe this is a life altering book and recommend it highly.

I thought the book made and reinforced basic principles in meeting a mate and relying on GOD to make that happen. I don't think there was anything earthshattering about the book or something I hadn't heard about or considered before. I did disagree about the point on online dating and how GOD wouldn't necessarily pick online dating to find a mate or how it's hard to get to know someone online. I think the author placed limits on GOD and was judging online dating.

I was browsing Amazon for romance novels and I came across this book. I bought it thinking, "Oh well, the reviews seem pretty good. Let's give it a try." I am so glad that I decided to purchase this book. It has been the best book I have ever read in my life that has been so fulfilling. Many times I found myself looking for romance books, but felt empty after ending the story. This book is an ultimate guide for men and women in a relationship, whether married or not. There are many aspects in it, such as reflection of your life and how to become a better person. Thanks to this book, I have started to love my future husband even though I have not met him yet. But God has a plan for me, and He has a plan for you too. Don't hesitate and buy the book. I underlined, and wrote notes on the side. It has become so personal that I have decided to leave this legacy only for my future children to read! It may sound ridiculous to you, but not to me. You can only understand this after reading it :) 5 Stars!

If you've made mistakes. If you've been hurt. If you've experienced shame, regret and guilt and seek to find hope read this book. God isn't done with you yet and this book is highly encouraging. God seeks to write our love story and this book reminds us he is willing, able and ready to do just that. It challenges you to remain pure. Reminds us all those that we interact with could be someone else's spouse and how would we feel about that if we were in the other persons shoes. Are we honoring our brothers and sisters or using them for our own selfish gain? It reminds me that my choice to remain pure does please God and just because I made mistakes or was used in the past doesn't put me out of a amazing love story in my future. It keeps it real that this is work and we all have our lessons to learn and the lessons continue long into marriage. I would recommend this book to anyone.
