Mouldmaster Soy Pillar Candle Wax Pellets 1kg, SOYA, Cream/Off White

I've bought this wax time after time, I use it to make wax melts and it's excellent, it cools and sets quickly, so I can make batch after batch throughout the day. It takes both colour and fragrance very well and it's great to work with.

The perfect wax for my melts! This wax is so easy to work with and gives off an amazing hot and cold scent throw, it’s perfect to use with both mica and dye chips and my wax melts turn out super shiny it’s unreal. 😍 10/10 would definitely recommend.

I have been making candles for more than 5 years and have used this wax before with satisfactory results (see pic 4) But this is definitely a BAD BATCH. I made one of the candles above as in 4th pic and it was a disaster, as the first 3 pics show. Friable in the extreme, crumbly, dry, and poor at taking colour, setting with umpteen white 'frosted' patches. I am very disappointed and am returning the lot for a refund. What a waste of money,time, wax, dye, and scent! It's a pity that you can't tell the quality until it has been used. (One positive is that it takes scent well. That's the ONLY good point) I see that another buyer had the same issues with a batch bought in February: I bought mine in March and would have expected the poor quality batch to have been withdrawn but that clearly has not happened! AVOID!!!!

I ordered this wax as I fell out of love of using 494 to make wax melts - this wax has quickly become my favourite “go to” for making wax melts - as long as melting advice is followed you can achieve hard, glossy highly scented wax melts.It holds fragrance oil well - has a great hot /cold throw.Very pleased with this product - however does take a while to get delivered and isn’t always in stock

Seen a few bad picture reviews on this product, I found the first few I made did frost badly but this was down to the pour temp. If you pour lower (I poured these at 120°F) they come out fine! The scent throw isn’t as great as the premium eco soy wax by the same seller but still throws okay. Would probably buy again as great shine and I like how it’s a lot firmer than the other wax, it doesn’t leave a residue on the container I store my melts in.

I ordered this without reading the reviews (stupidly) and read lots of bad reviews once it had been delivered. I was ready to send back, however, thought I’d see for myself… I’m so pleased I tried it because my candles actually came out perfect! I will definitely buy again, I followed instructions to the letter so not sure what happened with those who’s candles came out a bit dodgey!

I put 5* for scent as there is none - these make good quality candles with no bad smell (as there is no smell at all). Much better value in my opinion than Yankee candles and easy to make, the 2kg and 4kg bags go a long way.

I'm a wax melt maker by trade and stumbled across this product when I was running out of wax. At first it great easy to melt adheres well to scents. Give off good scent throw etc but now I've had 2 bad batches where the wax has a crumbly appearance and once melted and set into moulds is completely frosted and very unattractive which has meant I havent been able to sell them. It's the 2nd time it's happened with this specific make and unfortunately put me off future purchases
