Bought as a replacement power supply for a device that only draws 0.5a, and it seems to be working fine.-1 star for the inclusion of an unnecessarily bright power indicator LED on the plug. If the plug is anywhere remotely visible you'll be wanting to stick some tape over this to hide it lest your eyes be seared every time you catch sight of it; although it could double as a night light should you want such a thing.

Excellent product and service

Don’t buy this. It’s very dangerous and melts to the point of catching fire. Mine almost burnt down my house. It’s lucky I always keep an eye on it as I didn’t trust it. Come home from work today and could smell burning, looked in the cupboard where the dehumidifier was and smoke was coming from the power adapter. I can’t stress enough to you all not to buy this.
