Unfortunately the back cover of one of the paperback books was bent backwards - probably done whilst packing which was a shame as this was for a present. I liked this book as it is with Alan Titmarsh on all occasions it is thoughtfully written with relevant information presented in a clear wat.

I’m not a big fan of Alan Titchmarsh’s programmes but find his books excellent. Having decided to invest in my first roses, I bought this book. It covers every aspect of rose growing, including the different types of rose, selection, planting, feeding, pruning and pests and diseases. The text is easy to understand and broken down into accessible chunks, with clear illustrations. I’m sure I shall refer to it for years to come.
