Delivery was so quick and the plug is important to me as my items I use every day still have South African plugs.

Nicely made, solid, worked with no difficulty in South Africa and Namibia. Only advice is that in Namibia most of the tourist places we stayed had more European sockets than South African/Namibian so European adapters were also needed.

Since immigrating to the UK, we have a few items we brought with us that still have the South African plugs on them. We bought a few of these adaptors, not only for the kitchen, where they live on the counter, always at the ready, but they are super handy when the family arrives to visit from SA and they need to plug in a hairdryer, laptop charger etc.The only problem is, that every now and again, one lands up in someone’s suitcase on the way to Cape Town, where, incidentally, they are COMPLETELY USELESS (haha!), so we have to keep ordering more to top up our stash. :-)

Adapters worked really well although the hotel we stayed at also had European plugs, so these were not necessary.
