Just polished enough
I pre-purchase this book the day it was announced and waited anxiously for it to be released. To enjoy this book the most, you must have a relationship with the business and indirectly with the owner. If you have a long relationship with IN-N-OUT as a customer, you have almost a related feeling to the enterprise and Snyder family. You want to hear the history, you want to hear the inside stories and you want to hear how the key players saw things in the beginning. You want to gain some insight through the lessons they learned along the way and get excited about their vision for the future. Mainly, you want to grow your confidence that the great burger you started with 30 years ago will still be around 30 years from now to please the next generation.Lynsi does a great job here by keeping it very real and not letting the professionals try to polish away her authenticity and genuine voice in the storytelling. This book has something for everyone but mainly is special to In-N-Out lovers. We are cheering for you Lynsi.

seeing behind the curtain
I grew up in California, and was raised on In-N-Out burgers. My family and I moved to Texas in 2002. We were thrilled when we heard it was coming to Texas in 2011. Our son was fortunate enough to get hired and open the Allen, TX store. He is still with the company today. Thank you to NetGalley for sending me an Advanced Reader copy. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing behind the curtain of this company, and enjoy it even more!

Congrats on 75 Years! Wonderful Book! Make it into a Movie!
First, thank you to Lynsi and all the associates at In N Out! The Book was a wonderful ride down memory lane about the history of In N Out! From humble beginnings, to constant growth but not compromising quality, to tragedy with Rich's unexpected death, then Guy's passing, the story would make an Inspiring movie! In 2010, I read the other well known book: "In-N-Out Burger: A Behind-the-Counter Look at the Fast-Food Chain That Breaks All the Rules Paperback" I also read that book in just a few days and couldn't put it down. Lynsi's book has that more personal touch with her sharing her faith journey and stories relating to what she has been through, noting that she may write another book just explaining her triumphs and failures after her fathers passing. Lastly, In N Out has an amazing story to it, and this book outlines it beautifully. At the restaurant level, In N Out has mastered the customers experience, Thank you again for writing this wonderful book.

Pretty Self Aggrandizing
This is a very basic book containing the background and evolution of In N Out. If you have been around for awhile, most of it is already out there. Honestly, this company has a operating system and philosophy that is hard to beat. Keep it simple and don't try to appease every trend. Just keep doing what you have been doing. It is hard to screw up. A supposed religious orientation doesn't add anything to the formula.
