MG Electronics MGT2412DV SECURITY TRANSFORMER DUAL VOLT 12VDC/24VAC

This transformer is a great price and unique that it has both 12VDC and 24VAC. Have used the 12VDC side of it. Only complaint is the weight - it's definitely one of the heaviest plug-in transformers i've seen/used. take that as good or bad; i've gone to a lighter one, although it doesn't have the dual voltage output.

Works with 12 and 24 volts allowed me to sworn my doorbell transformer over to an outlet then plug in.

I used DC output for charging pin pad for ring security system and it works fine. Delivery time was 5-6 days after ordering which is kind of long compared to other items ordered on Amazon.

There was no current for 12V which is what I brought this transformer for. The 24V did have 27V of current.

I used this product as part of a hardwire power installation of my Ring alarm entry keypad. Worked great. It was bigger than I expected.

Great multi-output transformer. I needed a transformer to operate and power my humidifier. 12vdc was needed for the relay control and 24vac was needed to operate the solenoid. I didn’t even know they made these. Only been one week but so far working great. It’s heavy and feels well made. The voltage output is accurate.

This item was purchased as a replacement power converter/power supply for a CCTV system. The current rating of 500 mA is acceptable, although 1,000 mA is preferred. Electrically speaking, the only issue that I have with the product is associated with the fact there is no third-wire prong to function as a ground. Ungrounded power supplies can allow interference in to the electrical circuits. I was aware of this potential problem when I ordered this product. Therefore, I am not allowing this to be a factor in my product rating.
