The real stuff, dropped my hotspot 40c
The real deal. Dropped my hot spot temps on my 4080 super 40 degrees. Yes, you read that right. Hotspot was hitting 110c bc Asus is a garbage company, and corrupt to their core. After only a couple hours of work, hotspot is only hitting 70c. Core temps dropped ~13 degrees. Fans finally running slow and quiet.Asus wanted me to tear my PC apart for a month while they "repaired" the GPU, but really all they were going to do is put the same cheap thermal paste on the GPU in hopes that it would be another 6 months before it happens again when the warranty had expired.Whoever put this kit together really went the extra mile. Not only is this the real deal, they provide you with all the tools you'll need to work with it. They've really thought it thru. In case it's not obvious, the little green tabs are for peeling away the plastic film on both sides. Stick one of the green tabs to each side, with the line between the transparent and green lines up exactly with a corner/edge.

This stuff is next-level performance!
This stuff is amazing! The benefits of liquid metal thermal compound without the risks of shorting out your motherboard if the liquid metal decides to go exploring.I have a Dell Precision 5560 laptop with an i9-11950H CPU. Needless to say, that thing runs hot. I had previously been hitting 100C on at least one core almost constantly, and this was after replacing the factory thermal paste with some better stuff. After I put the new thermal pads on, the temperatures didn't seem to change at first but after a little while I'm now seeing an average of 60-70C where it was almost always at least 90C previously. It will not work right away! It takes some time for the thermal pad to melt when it heats up, so running the CPU hot and then letting it cool down seemed to do the trick for me. It took about a day before I noticed the temps lowering significantly.I have a lot of material leftover for my other machines as well, this stuff is an amazing value especially for the price.Make sure to put the thermal pad in the fridge (NOT the freezer) for a few hours before you plan to apply it, as this will make it stiffen up more and make it easier to work with. The protective film was a tad difficult to remove, but the mini sticky tape things that came with the install kit helped quite a bit.I had read online that this product does not work as well when used on a CPU/GPU with an IHS (integrated heat spreader), it is designed to be applied between the bare die and the heatsink, so keep that in mind. Most laptops already have bare die processors, and most desktops have an IHS.All in all, highly recommend!

Saved an RTX 4080 with pumped out factory paste
My RTX 4080 TUF OC went from 80 degrees on an undervolt to 60 degrees with an overclock. Hotspot is down from mid 90s to 70. 290 to 330 watts and 20 degrees less under max load. Thermal paste from the factory was cooked. Is this legit Honeywell PTM? The world may never know. Does it work better than thermal paste? Hell yes. It can be a pain to install so make sure you put it in the fridge for a while before installing, it'll make peeling the plastic off easier. A good set of tweezers and a steady hand goes a long way!

No instructions, so make sure to look them up on your own first.
I didn't look up instructions and there were none in the box that I received. I didn't know what the brush was for or the extra sticky things. Just really had no clue. Apparently, you put these in the freezer to cool off and get really stiff for several minutes. This allows you to more easily peel the protective layers off. I found it easier to take measurements, use a sharp blade (like exacto) to cut it to size. Then using the exacto to separate the plastic. My Asus Strix Scar 15 had liquid metal for the 12900H CPU, but after removing the heatsink, I could tell that the liquid metal had not covered the CPU well at all. It was a pain to get up, too. After this (and using some thermal putty on the other components), I noticed my temps having dropped by nearly 30c! I couldn't believe it. All this time. My GPU's temps were still fine. My score in 3D mark was over 1k higher for the CPU test. I definitely had been throttling.Don't know why I waited so long. I was just afraid of taking this thing apart. I used to work in IT, but those were all Inspirons that were honestly built like tanks half the time (and also not my personal investments). Either way, really love the performance increase. It has been VERY noticeable.

Outstanding Thermal Performance with Clean Application!
This thermal pad delivers exceptional heat transfer, outperforming traditional pastes I've used before. Its phase-change material activates around 45°C, ensuring optimal contact and thermal conductivity. Installation was straightforward, and the mess-free application is a significant advantage over conventional thermal pastes. After replacing the old paste on my GPU with this pad, I observed a noticeable drop in temperatures, enhancing overall system stability. Highly recommended for those seeking efficient and clean thermal solutions.

Working good so far. Very easy to apply!
I researched this before purchasing for a CPU repaste. So far it’s working GREAT! Temperatures are down 3*C compared to before use. I liked that the research said that this is not supposed to pump out or dry out like the other paste options!

Difficult install, but worth it. buy to size.
Huge, insane pain to install. Bought 3, got it on my third attempt. Honestly, just try to buy it to size. Cutting it is too hard.As for quality, it's working better than my thermal paste was on my cooler, so it's a win! You can also tell it's genuine while you're installing because it'll get hard in the freezer and while you're holding it the warmth of your hand makes it soft.Curious if this will stand the test of time, but mine's doing well 3 months in
