Well made tool
Bought this tool in desperation when trying to remove a small circlip from a bike rear wheel freehub body that I was rebuilding with new bearings. The circlip had tiny holes (approx 1.2mm dia.) and I couldn't find a pair of circlip pliars anywhere that would fit. That was until I found these which have 0.8mm tips and are angled inwards. With this tool it was literally a 5 second job to remove the circlip. Excellent tool which I expect to use again and again.

Good Circlip Pliers
Having struggled with one of those crappy interchangeable head circlip pliers, I got these to reach inside my bike's freehub so I could remove the circlip that held one of the bearings in place. No regrets, it worked perfectly. New bearing now fitted, circlip put back, all is well. Not cheap but worth the money.

Only these will do the job
Use the right tool - only a proper pair of circlip pliers will do the job easily and without causing damage to the component or possible injury. These are designed for the job with slightly inwards pointing tips to ensure a good grip of the circlips' cutout holes for its removal. Larger diameter circlips of +40mm dia have a powerful spring action and a well designed pair like these will make the task easy.

Good quality
Not yet test these on a tough circlip but have a good solid action. These appear to be good quality German made circlip pliers. These are to replace a 5 piece exchangeable jaws set - which I can confirm do not work and will bend and twist out of shape. From now on I will be using these type of dedicated pliers.Very pleased.

They’re okay but not as robust as I’d hoped.
Pretty good but not massively robust. The tips are distorted after only a couple of uses.
