Help protect clothing and loft spaces
Moth balls are not something that are seen very often thesse days. Tehy can be put into wardrobes or drawers to help keep clothes smelling fresh. Or, as we discovered, you can litter them around your loft as the apparently discourage mice and other rodents, or even birds, from going into the area. Personally, I find that they smell very unpleasant so am not surprised that small animals find them a deterrent.

Very toxic, don’t be fooled
I purchased these in a frenzy when I discovered moths in my home, and to be fair, they are helping me keep the problem somewhat managed while I try and get through my house and clothes. Ironically I suffer from a chronic illness and shouldn’t be using this kind of toxic stuff but it’s precisely because I’m ill and disabled and not able to clean my house fast enough that I need them. Consumers should know that they are really VERY toxic and probably cancerous. The advertising is misleading as it’s portrayed as natural and safe and there’s even a hand holding a ton of them, but it most definitely isn’t natural and safe. There is no list of ingredients of the packaging either. Whether or not there is naphtalene in them is unconfirmed, but it would be against the law. The other active ingredients aren’t really less toxic either. Please don’t be fooled by the advertising. Also there were no real instructions for safe use. I will use the balls for this emergency but will hopefully get on top of the moth problem without it in the future.
