Yes, you can use just one skewer at a time. You would need to check that the BBQ is big enough to accommodate a piglet as it is only 70cm long, you would also need a more powerful motor than the one that comes with the BBQ.

Q: Does it have a grill surface so you can use it as a standard bbq, or does it only work as a rotisserie?

It only works as a rotisserie but I believe you can buy racks for it separately.

It takes the large round batteries (D cell)
