the assembly was a bit challenging by myself, but i went slow and used my own tools to mitigate the difficulties. the chairs are comfortable, sturdy, and pretty good value for the price. i’d definitely buy again.

Honestly disappointed... the instructions are not easy to assemble for someone who normally doesn't assemble anything together. If you are used to putting things together i guess this should be okay for you, but it was pretty tough and frustrating for me as the instructions are just one picture and lacked step by step instructions.I bought two sets of 4 chairs. One of the boxes came in a bit damaged, but suprisingly enough nothing was missing from that box. But the second box looked like it came in perfect condition but they were missing the tools and the nails to assemble the chairs. A project I expected to take 5 days max including the shipment and assembling ended up being a month project because I have to wait for another shipment for just the tools.

Don't let the other reviews scare you about being difficult to assemble. If you can tighten a screw, you'll be just fine. My husband did say he found it easier to barely get one side of the seat started then go to the other side to fully tighten that side, and later return to finish tightening the other side. He assembled all of them by himself, took about 10-15 per chair. The chairs are comfortable and look just like the picture.

These chairs are nice once they are assembled, and they seem sturdy enough. With that said, though the assembly process is straightforward, the Allen head screws are very shallow and it’s very hard for the Allen wrench they provide to grip the screw, and the screws are also very soft, so it’s VERY easy to strip the screw heads. To get around this I had to use a pair of pliers to turn the screws and tighten them. Take’s a few hours to work through this process, a real pain in the neck. I’m giving an overall 4 on the chairs because they are nice, especially for the price, but I’m giving a 2 on the assembly process because of the screws. If you get these chairs make sure you have a pair of pliers with a good grip on hand.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought these chairs because they seemed pretty nice for the price. There were no instructions in the box, just a parts list, which all parts were there. Maybe they tell you in the instructions, which of course I didn’t have, but if you don’t have two people putting them together, you may lose your mind. The extremely complicated assembly became a bit easier when my friend came to help me. They may also tell you in the instructions, but I wouldn’t know, you absolutely, positively, need a drill with an allen wrench attachment or there is absolutely no way these chairs would’ve gone together. I am satisfied with the product. They look nice and seem sturdy, but i understand why so many people have returned them. You can really use the help of another person, but you will absolutely need to use a drill.

Chairs are great, a little hard to put together but manageable.

Trust all the other bad reviews here and do not buy this box of useless parts on which you will just waste hours unpacking, unsuccessfully trying to assemble, then wrestling to Tetris all the useless bits back into the super heavy box.The long list of issues here:* Super cheap everything -- good luck not stripping the bolts.* The chair material on ours was stitched backwards, so if anyone actually got far enough as to sit in one of these, they'd be sitting on the seams. Nice look too.* The chair material framing and actual material on ours was 15"... the interior of the armrest frame into which that seat is supposed to bolt to is 19"... not only were the bolts nowhere near long enough, but even if they were, you'd be sitting on 15" of fabric with the frame digging into your thighs. Unless these are for children, they weren't going to work. Ours looked nothing like the photos here -- easily a two inch gap between the seat material and armrest.* One of the holes we tested for bolting the seating material to the armrest frame was way too big for the bolt, so even if it did reach on both sides, it wasn't ever going to attach.* Just ZERO quality control. Totally possible we got a box full of lemons, as some people seem to have managed to put together and use their chairs, but what was in OUR box was never going to be usable chairs.Currently waiting on hold with Amazon customer support as even if you manage to get all the useless parts back into that box, good luck lifting it into your car and then out again at the UPS store.Possibly the worst product I've ever seen from Amazon. Why is Amazon selling something so bad, and why would you risk buying this heavy box of useless lemon parts? Just, No.
