Not worth the price!
This variety pack of crystal candles offered 8 flavors to sample, along with a complimentary pouch of sour powder. They were, lemon( lychee, strawberry, raspberry, strawberry lemon,, mango blue raspberry and cinnamon. The lemon was the stand out. It was by far the most flavorful and paired really well with the sour powder. Lychee was top two, although it wasn't a close top two, comparing it to the lemon. However, it tasted like fruit. The rest of the fruit flavored ones were bland, tasting like sugar. Cinnamon has hints of spice, did not taste like cinnamon and was hands down my least favorite. Ultimately, they reminded me of tasteless rock candy. Which is less expensive and at least has some flavor. More than half of the candies were not even that crunchy, which was something I was hoping for to satisfy my sensory processing. Overall, I was disappointed by the product and a little insulted by the cost for such a mediocre novelty item. Do yourself a favor and skip them. They aren't worth the price!

Super addictive!
The flavors aren't overpowering especially the lemon flavor which was nice! Had a great crunch, definitely different texture than the other kinds but both are amazing!

Don’t buy!
The “flavor” is horrible. The only thing going for them is that they’re pretty to look at. They don’t come wrapped in plastic. They come in a box with a lid sitting on cupcake papers. Is that sanitary??

Yummy! But expensive.
I love love love these but, they are not for everyone. I wanted to outline some stuff nobody seems to really talk about with these. They are not Jolly Rancher strong, the flavor is light and sweet but not overly sugary. The crunch is good but they're not hard- its not like rock candy. The clusters are the "crunchiest" as they dont have the gummy/squishy inner textures as the others do.These are very easy to make yourself should you want to. You can find plenty of recipes by googling kohakutou. These are very expensive considering that you can make this for very cheap however the technique can have a learning curve. The plus side here is convenience and flavor variety but if you are even slightly skilled in candy making it's hard to justify this price 😅

No flavor- but pretty presentation
I had heard and seen so much about these confections, I really wanted to try them. Very pretty box and presentation. All individually wrapped, and these particular ones were crunchy - not rock hard - but crunchy. However, part of the reason I was so excited were the elevated favors - and there was no flavor with any of them. They just tasted sweet like sugar. That was disappointing, so I think it is a quality control issue.Unless they have a flavor, I would not purchase again because after all, a spoonful of sugar is crunchy and sweet with no flavor - but MUCH less expensive!

Interesting but not for me
These candies are beautiful. The presentation is beautiful. The creativity is beautiful and the concept is interesting. I like rock candy but this is not rock candy. It is not as hard as rock candy. It’s much softer to chew. The interesting thing is that there’s a jelly component Which I thought was going to be the equivalent of, say the inside of a jellybean or a Swedish fish, but the jelly component is not that firm (it’s not liquid either. I’m not exactly sure how to explain it. It’s like the glue that holds the rock crystals together). So for me, it ends up being a texture thing. The flavor is fine and I wonder if this is a candy That may be has its roots in a different culture and perhaps I’m just not accustomed to it but I wanted to try it and I have and I’m glad I did. I won’t buy it again but there are I’m sure many people that would like this. I did put mine in the freezer to see if it would firm up the jelly consistency, but it did not.

Worst product I have ever bought
They have absolutely no flavor, this is my first time trying them and my sister and I are absolutely distraught. When I took my first bite I ran to get a covid test cause I thought I was losing my sense of taste. 0/10 luckily I do not have covid. The item I had bought was just horrendously unflavored . 100% not worth the 35$ I had paid for them.

Pretty good!
This candy tastes pretty good. It was fresh when arrived, and pleasing to the eye.
