Very tasty
I did a pound in with four ham hocks and fixings. 1.5 hours in the instant pot unsoaked and it turned out perfect. It's unbelievable to me that these are lower carb. They're delicious and almost meaty in comparison to a starchy or creamy bean. Beans were one of the main things I've missed doing low carb. Not anymore!

Good value, cook well
We like them, great low carb bean option. Have used the canned Eden Farms one in the past but they are quite expensive per can. This made 3-4 batches and much more economical. I made them in the instant pot, PC for 1-1.25 hours with water and spices or broth. Used for chili as well as charo style beans and refried beans.

Excellet quality, but the price!
I know, I know, I should be satisfied to get such a (for me) hard-to-find item at ANY price, but every time I buy these I mentally wince, thinking about how much more expensive these are compared to the dried beans the rest of my family can eat. Enough complaining, though. The aforementioned quality is great, the packaging sturdy, and of course they're delicious in chili or soup just by themselves. I'll keep coming back, and if I could afford to I would keep coming back more often. :-)

Good Quality
Good quality dry beans, fresh. I did soak then overnight and still took a few hours to cook

Great for Keto
These are great for people needing high fiber or trying to cut carbs. The downside is they take a long time to cook compared to other beans. I soaked them overnight, cooked on high in crockpot and had to finish them in an instant pot before they were tender enough.

Excellent flavor for Japanese Natto (fermented soybeans)
I wish I could give it 4.5 stars, only because I do have to go through the beans after soaking and remove quite a few beans (4-5 percent) that are abnormally small and too firm (hard), even if you cook them. If you take the trouble to do this, these have the best flavor for making homemade Japanese natto (fermented soybeans), of all the black soybeans we've tried from the USA. The normal-sized beans are very tasty and the black soybeans overall have a slightly sweeter, richer flavor than the cream-colored more traditional soybeans used for soy milk. It's hard to see which beans will need to be removed until you've soaked them at least 10-15 hours. If you are interested in the best tutorial for how to make Japanese natto, simply search for "Natto Dad" on youtube. His instructions turn out perfect natto every time, as if you bought them from the supermarket in Japan.

Great in the Instant Pot! Easier on the Stomach Than Kidney or Black Turtle Beans
These are great! Soy beans are some of the only legumes that I can digest properly. I find these beans to be delicious and filling.
