Surprisingly good!!
My fiancee and I purchased this product when we realised one of our neighbours in our new house had direct line-of-sight from her back door to our en-suite bathroom! It prompted the odd bent-double scurry across the bathroom to close the window after showering before we could dry ourselves! Why on earth privacy glass was not installed in the first instance, I do not know!I read the reviews on Amazon before purchasing and recognised installation may not be straightforward, but thought we would give it a go. We reckoned on a good couple of hours and a lot of mess. Well, what a pleasant surprise! We had to do some prep-work to ensure the glazing putty and paintwork were trimmed back to leave resonably straight and square edges, which was a bif of a faff, but that is not the product's fault. A sharp Stanley knife blade did the trick.I noted another reviewer's suggestion to leave a gap at the edge of the film, rather than covering the entire pane of glass: that would have obviated the need for the tidy-up work I mentioned, but we elected to cover the whole of the pane. We set to with the instructions. I thoroughly recommend reading them a few times first to get the overview - before following sequentially as you carry out each step. Some of the steps seem a little counter-intuitive, and dare I say it superflous, but we followed them to the letter, and the result was well worth it!Thankfully we had only two small panes of glass to cover, so it only took us a couple of minutes to smooth out all the air bubbles. We did expect to have to repeat this "smoothing process" a few times, but we were either very skilled or remarkably lucky, because we encountered no further air bubbles after installation. As others have commented, plenty of light is still allowed to pass through, but without sacrificing any privacy. My fiancee was so impressed, she suggested applying it to our clear-glazed shower screen; however, since it is our en-suite used only by us - and I am happy with the view! - it hardly seems worth it!

Brilliant!
This film is BRILLIANT. We bought another brand of frosted film first but sent it back because it was textured. This one looks like proper frosted glass, is really easy to put on and looks fabulous. Really pleased!

Does the job.
I bought an OXO squeegee about 10 inches across to help me with this. (a rubber blade and metal handle - found on amazon). And a sharp razor type blade, a cheap one in a plastic thin holder big enough for your hand. A more expensive metal blade holder was too bulky when I tried it, to bulky to get to the edge of the window between the credit card. Needed something thinner more exact and room to see what I was doing. I used a spray bottle with a few drops of dish soap then filled with water. The squeegee (I bought one I now use for the shower door and windows) really helped to clear off the window after washing it. I watched the video on their website, and I did not find it difficult just a bit fiddly. And don't try it if you are not in a patient mood and ensure you do it during the daylight. Not that difficult.I found that using a credit card and moving the card with the blade at the same time to cut the film worked surprisingly easily. Didn't need to apply much pressure. The corners are tricky but you just have to do it slowly and take your time.I decided to go for a frame and used a thin book instead of a credit card. It is about 1/2 inch around the edges. Also quite easy to do.Some say they end up with some bubbles - but there is no need for that. Just pull off the film if you can't get the bubble out, re-spray with the water/soap and go again. The long squeegee helped with this process, so did the smaller 'smoother' that comes with it. Kinda fun really.I took less time than I imagined, took about 20-30 mins for one 90 x 90 cm window including going back to do a frame. Can't see out through it too well but it does let the light in. I thought that, now I know it isn't all the hard to do, I'd cut out a few lines in it to make a pattern of some sort. But it is dry now and dare not touch it.

This product is excellent value, very easy to apply providing you follow the instructions given. I did however cut the pieces to the required size before applying to the door window panels, the result was perfect with no shrinkage or expansion and hence no further trimming required. The item was received within the time scale quoted and was packaged sufficiently well to avoid damage to the contents.
