Just finished installing 25 of these
The Enterprise version is impressive. Use the UFi controller software to manage multiple units. They will load balance automatically, using multiple bands as available. We had one AP that lost wired connection but still had POE. The unit switched modes and acted as a repeater to the next closest AP to cover the area until the wiring was repaired.

They work mostly but there are caveats.
Used in a house with 3 floors, one AP per floor. They claim some very large client support, like hundreds --- this is likely not true, typically with 10-15 active clients per AP the memory usage is 75% --- hard to see being able to add hundreds more with only 25% memory window. This is a retail/consumer device, despite what Unifi would have you believe that this is some commercial "light" device, it's not (and none of their equipment is). That doesn't mean it's bad, it works very well, mostly. You probably bought this for 6GHz support. Well just know as of April 2025, the "band steering" option in Unifi software only supports 5Ghz. So if you have Wifi 6E devices, you cannot through the software "force" them to connect to 6Ghz... you have to rely on your device to "decide" to connect to 6GHz and from my experience this happens basically never... To work around this you have to build a 6GHz "only" separate wifi network in the software. Now you can join your Wifi 6E 6Ghz devices to that dedicated 6Ghz network --- but the problem is, they cannot fall back to 5Ghz or 2.4Ghz ever and from my experience devices do occasionally drop from 6Ghz... so now you are just stuck waiting for the device to negotiate a re-connection to 6Ghz. And, you have another network to manage.I'm giving these 3 stars because they disconnect all the time. In the Unifi alert logs you will see these messages often "<Name> has disconnected>". I have these powered over PoE from Unifi switches... so why do they disconnect? I do not have meshing setup, all 3 APs have a "home run" back to the main PoE switch. So what's with the frequent disconnections? All 3 of them do it, so this isn't an isolated thing.

Worked great until it didn't
I am a fan of Ubiquiti (replaced this one with a WiFi 7 Max) I did a routine firmware update and it never recovered. Tried factory reset still went to - BLANK - WHITE - BLUE - flashing lights which means it is in recovery mode. Got the latest firmware that it was on and connected with TFTP and uploaded the .bin file which caused the lights to flash a lot, but in the end went right back to the recovery mode flashing sequence. Opened an RMA and we will see what happens. When it worked, it worked really well.
