Wanted to use this extender for my 2230 512GB ssd that I had laying around. I personally had no issues with fitment or performance also pretty straight forward design 5 outta 5 stars from me!

Removed a plastic peg and now its been running in my legion go for a few months with no noticeable change other than I can put full size NVME drives in it now. Works fine for me I also kept hold heat sink sticker and just peeled it back and re stuck it to new NVME drive that's plugged into this thing. Hope this review helps.

Works in T480, but make sure you're using a Gen3 NVME drive. Gen4 does not seem to work.

Works great in my ROG Ally so far, quality seems as expected, good price. Device working flawlessly after a few days. If anything changes, will update.

Surely not the best for the ROG Ally. It basically doesnt go well with aftermarket back plate , by covering the APU cooler and basically heats the NMVE more than the 2230 OEM would. I wonder how fast 2280 nvme drives will fail due to overheating in the ROG Ally.Last point which was a deal breaker for me, it wasnt plug and play, it was too large and required to disassemble the battery to slide it underneath. Just a pain right off the bat. Will buy a 2230 2TB with heatsink and call it a day, and enjoy the much lower temps the aftermarket Ally case offers.

I used it to put a 2230 m.2 NVME in the WWAN slot of my thinkpad t480s, and it works beautifully. I haven't run into any problems yet

Perfect Fit, install was as easy as it could have been. Only complaint is that I'd prefer the PCB be narrower and have the traces more compact so that it'd be lighter. After the conversion, the device is a bit heavier on the left than the right, so the more weight savings the better. But speed and fitment were perfect, so no complaints!
