200 LED 20m Premier Battery 8 Function Outdoor Smart Timer Lights Warm White [Energy Class A+]

I have wanted to put up outside Christmas lights for some time but was put off by the hassle (and expense) of getting an electrician in to instal an outside electric point, especially as it would only be used for a couple of weeks every year. I tried solar powered lights but these were useless - there simply isn't enough sunlight at this time of year to charge them. I was, therefore, delighted when I found I could get battery operated outside llghts. I have put these lights around a conifer in my front garden. It isn't a huge tree, just about 10 feet and it looks lovely with the lights on it. The lights were very simple to operate. There are 2 buttons - an on/off button and a function button. The lights come on when you press the on/off button and stay on for 6 hours. They then go off for 18 hours and come back on automatically at the same time as the day before. They will follow this sequence until you switch them off. For example, I switched my lights on at 5 o'clock. They went off at 11pm and came back on at 5pm the following day. This means that you dont have to go out in the rain/snow/wind to switch them on and off. The bulbs are small LED lights and they are warm white in colour. The effect is subtle rather than flashy. The lights have a choice of 8 modes of operation, you simply keep pressing the function button until you get the effect that you like. I have set mine to go on and off continuously and it looks very nice indeed. One word of warning - you will need a longer string of lights than you might think. These are 20 metres long and I thought they might be too long for my tree but they weren't. I really needed that length to cover the tree. According to the pack the batteries should last 30 days which is pretty good. All in all, I am very happy with these lights and would buy them again.

I know the lights come on, but didn't get the chance to use them over Christmas, but I'm sure they will work great.

These lights are great value for money. Just put outside house on fence and they look lovely. Nice warm glow, 20 metres, so plenty of lights. Good solid battery compartment. I also covered my battery compartment with a little bag for extra protection against weather. I will also use in summer in the garden. Might order more 🙂

The product was initially fine and did what it was supposed to. Unfortunately after 11 months they failed and I tried to contact both the supplier and Amazon. The supplier said it was outside of their replacement window and refused to honour the warranty and Amazon still haven’t replied!What’s the point of having consumer law in the uk if companies like this just ignore it!

Good Xmas tree lights,the Warm White is a goldish colour which I did'nt realise when I placed my order but they look really nice.I have 2 sets of these lights now( the other set being a bright white) and they perform well outside .Battery life is really good plus a good long lead.

These are GREAT and I'm buying more next Christmas if not long before. I've had them up on our outside tree since early December and they're still going strong as of Jan 2nd on the same set of batteries and through all weathers (and it's been bad lately). They come on at exactly the same time each day and stay on for 6 hours - just like it says on the tin. The look good, work well, are made well and should last for years. Far safer than using mains powered ones outside and I'm also going to use them indoors next year.Tip - shop around for these with other sellers on Amazon as the price I'm seeing now is substantially more than I paid for my set.

Great set of lights. Eats batteries though so make sure you feed them good quality ones.Liked them so much I kept them up outside.
