Great Tool
I’m a new homeowner and therefore a new DIYer. I’ve had a ryobi drill for a while and I like how the 18V batteries are compatible making the tool much more affordable. It is sturdy to use, cuts well, and is easy to adjust the angle and switch out the blade. Based on my drill and now jigsaw, I’d definitely look to ryobi first if I need a tool.

I had my dad’s jigsaw and it finally STB so I bought this one at a 15% discount and I had it here the next day . When I unboxed it put the.blade in it and it was a totally a new experience. Variable speed, cuts like butter, battery operated, will save me time when I cut up my pallets. Only draw back I have is the 100 or so u shaped jigsaw blades I have in my toolbox!

Very powerful!
I got this because I have a One+ battery from a weed eater that I no longer use. The price was right for the tool without the battery and charger.The saw cuts great and has a lot of power. Initially, when I saw that there were three settings, I thought it was not variable speed, but it is. I was happy about the variable speed but the saw itself is a bit bulky and heavy when the battery is in. I don't see that as a downside though because you are typically using a jigsaw on a flat surface.This will probably be my go-to jigsaw from now on.The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the way the blades lock-in. I have a ton of blades for my other saw that will not work in this one.Other than its incompatibility with other blades, I see this as a great saw that may be a bit on the hefty side but is great on the power end.
