Decent Starter Kit, But Has Some Drawbacks
The YINVA crochet set has a lot going for it—there’s no denying it’s packed with accessories. The variety of hook sizes, colourful yarns, and included tools like stitch markers and sewing needles make it a great all-in-one starter kit, especially for beginners. The storage bag is cute and portable, and the small transparent box helps keep everything organized.That said, I do have a few concerns. The yarn quality is okay, but not amazing—it’s a bit rough and can split while working with it. Also, each yarn ball is quite small (only 25g), so you may run out quickly if you're making anything larger than a basic sample or small project. The hooks are lightweight and ergonomic, but some of the rubber handles feel a bit flimsy after extended use.Overall, it's a decent kit for learning or gifting to someone just starting out, but if you're more experienced or looking to do bigger projects, you’ll probably want to invest in higher-quality yarn and tools down the line. Still, for the price and what's included, it's not a bad deal—it just didn’t wow me.
