Works good
I was skeptical, but after trying it, I'm sold on it.Dry mixed a half batch or type S Mortar in a wheelbarrow with sand. Added half the water, used a hoe to disperse the water a bit. Started this thing up and it wiped the mortar right up. Good mud too !For small 1/2 batch jobs or tuckpointing,I highly recommend it.Works great.

Quick initial impressions and first use
Just received the mixer today have not had a chance to use it yet, will update when I do just waiting for weather to cooperate. This was a little bit of a gamble for me as I generally do not buy cheap power tools but I wanted a dual paddle mixer and name brand ones are 700-1000$ and this is just for home use.Out of the box it looks OK, some rough machining but it feels solid. About on par as something from harbor freight.I installed the paddles no problem, although I highly recommend using anti gallant as the threads are a little rough and could probably hang up without some lubricant.I ran it for a few seconds and it sounded decent, not too loud and the gears all sounded “happy”, the paddles counter rotate and inter mesh correctly without banging into each other.Switches seem mid to low quality but worked as expected. One major note: the plug has no ground I would 100% not operate this unless you are plugging into a GFCI.The manual it comes with is essentially useless, it’s poorly translated and really doesn’t give any pertinent information anyway. The real test will be if can actually mix mortar/concrete I will update once I tryEdit:Finally got some good weather and got to use the mixer. It’s OK. I’m mixing half 80lb bags of mortar. It handles it but struggles a little especially before the water and powder get to a smooth consistency. Once it gets over the initial mix though it runs fine and mixes the mortar quickly and evenly. It definitely fees a little underpowered but for small batch home jobs it works. So far I’ve only mixed two bags so can’t really comment on longevity. One thing I have noticed is the paddles initially did not collide with each other however after the first batch they now slightly interfere; doesn’t seem to affect operation at this point but definitely not a mark of quality.Still have some more bags to mix, will add another edit if I run into any issues

Loose parts I. The box
I’ve been skeptical of using this, because there were some loose parts in the box. They were look like a spring with the magnet attached at the end I don’t understand what those are for and it didn’t say anything in the user manual about them, so I’m afraid to actually use the machine right now because I don’t want it to break or blow up on me I don’t know where these parts came from. I’m just hoping that the machine wasn’t damaged in shipping and they came out of the motor or something.

Love this mixer
This mixer is great. Lots of Power.Evenly gets to the bottom of the bucket nicely.Has powered through everything we have thrown at it.only downside is that replacement mixing paddles are not available for sale. This is bad since if a paddle gets bent or damaged then the entire unit cant be used.If there were paddles for sale i would give this a 5 stars without a doubt.

Mixer blades need smoothing
Much better than single paddle mixers. I've gone thru 20 bags of concrete, so far so good. Faster and more complete mix.The paddles have sharp edges that need to be filed or ground down or it will scrape plastic chips from buckets walls. Can probably get a bit better price than this seller though.
