The perfect waterproof cold weather glove.
These are some of the best gloves I’ve ever owned. They work really well for keeping your hands not only dry but warm in the winter months. I use them for cleaning my pool in the winter and they are long enough that I can reach into the skimmers without getting water in them. They are thin and flexible enough that they don’t tire out your hands, which can be a problem with other waterproof and winter gloves.

Warm and waterproof
They run a little small, which is great for me because I have small hands with shorter than average fingers (so it seems). The small fits great, and to my surprise I can use the touchscreen on my phone with these on! They are also lined with a soft and warm fleece. The waterproofing has held up well. I’ve used these for 1.5 years and they are still going strong. I use for mountaineering and snow scrambling in WA. I like that I can easily tighten at the top around my arm to prevent snow from getting in.

Warm & Waterproof
These are fantastic gloves! I used them on Mount Saint Helens and Mount Baker this past year during windy and cold temps (20’s). They are toasty inside. Because they’re waterproof, they’re also wind proof. They’re also really grippy for holding an ice axe and/or poles. The size chart was perfect for my hands. I got a medium. I’m 5’5” with an athletic build. However, I find that if the temps are on the warmer side and you’re really working hard, they get a little too warm and my hands start to sweat. This is where it’s good to have a whole glove system - these Showas, fleece gloves, and a liner pair for when it’s even warmer. Highly recommend these!

Tight Fit
Got size S and they fit tight, amazing for ice climbing and dexterity stuff, not so for touring and mountaneering over a liner. They sweat a bit and get smelly after a while. Not the most fashionable gloves out there but for the price they can make a good job on a variety of alpine endeavors.

Great balance of warmth and dexterity
I originally bought a similar product from another brand for ice climbing, and the rubber was too thick so I ended up having to over-grip my axes to overcome the rigidity. This led to a couple unfortunate instances of screaming barfies on fairly short climbs. My climbing partner had a pair of these so I decided to give them a try, and the thickness is much more suitable for anything requiring dexterity! They’re durable and very waterproof, quite warm too. I have a coworker who claimed to have used these for his Denali summit, so that’s a pretty good testimonial.I have very small hands (usually women’s small gloves), so I was nervous about having to order a medium, but they actually fit just fine, though a tiny bit loose. Seems they run on the smaller side.

Exactly what I wanted
These gloves are fantastic. I got them for shoveling and doing outside winter things that required waterproof gloves, or a high level of dexterity. I figured if they worked for ice climbers, they’d work for me. This was a correct assumption. They are WAY warmer than they look, 100% wind resistant, and I can do things like open up a folded dog poop bag better than I can bare handed. They also wick away sweat well. Not sure how that happens in a rubber glove, but it does. They seem to be pretty tough. I won’t hesitate to use them moving around logs, but I’d be a bit wary moving split firewood. A sharp enough splinter might take them out. I expect to go through about a pair a year, which for all the pluses, is a good value in my book.Being Japanese, they run small. The medium fit me perfect, and I usually wear a men’s small, so one size up should do it.I will definitely replace them when they eventually wear out.

Works Like A Charm
I own and operate a pool cleaning business. These gloves are perfect for winter operations. The insulation in them keeps my hands from freezing while emptying out skimmer baskets and operating frozen netting poles. The only thing that would make these even better would be to extend the cuff all the way up to the elbow.

Do not buy
Does not keep your hands warm, the lining in the gloves will come out if you don't carefully take off your gloves, and it says "do not wash" so your gloves will start to stink. Only plus side is that it's waterproof.
