nice file folder. it is solid and handles me frequently moving it around while full. I use this in my classroom and students frequently move this around and riffle through it and it handles the abuse well

This item is portable , very sturdy and will hold approximately 10-15 full hanging files.I used it as a stationary slide out file box in my office bookcase. Works great!

can’t screw into all the holes, rendering it useless.

I was surprised to see how nice these were. They have footers on the bottom to protect my wooden desk. They are so easy to pick up, do your work, and then just put them away out of sight. Since my office is in part of our family room, that is very important to me.

I wanted to get rid of my home file cabinet since it was large and I only used one drawer for files. I ordered the MaxGear file organizer since it looked good and I like that it can fold down when not needed.The organizer comes unassembled and folded flat and was packed VERY nicely. Each section was protected with bubble wrap so it wouldn't get damaged. Assembly was simple; fold up the 2 short sides then slide the 2 long sides into the channels provided making sure that the four tabs at the top go around the outside of the short sides. These tabs are what holds the entire organizer together so make sure they are securely in place.The holder is made up of mesh metal panels which allow you to see what's inside should you like to label your folders on the body vs. tabs. The mesh does have some play to it and will bend if yanked to hard. There are two handles, one on each of the short sides, that allow you to pick up the folder. I found that, when there are lots of files hanging inside they are hard to grab though.All in all, I am happy with the file holder. I can put it on a shelf on my desk and it is out of the way. If I decide not to use it, it folds down nice and compact for storage. At $16.99 (the price at the time of this review), I think it is a great purchase that is well worth the price to help you organize and have your files easily accessible.

I needed a portable file holder to house folders for each of my in-progress construction contracts. It’s just flimsy. One front piece was missing the U-shaped channel the side was supposed to rest in. This would’ve given the container better support. I don’t believe this was a manufacturing error because I could see the gap in their photo description. Disappointed.

This fits on my desk at work nicely. A little hard to put together, but once you figure it out, it works well.
