Impressive for the money once you work things out
The media could not be loaded. I have tried using loop pedals a while back but never got on with them and they were expensive. I recently saw and tried the LEKATO Triple Guitar Looper and it was so simple to use I found I could now actually loop in time!I then saw this model and liked the idea of a having forty memories over the three or nine of their other models. I had been looking for a metronome, so made sense to try this with the added drums as well.Lots of youtube videos to show you how to use it and its a great bandmate.Hopefully of interest this pedal can also be run off a battery if you purchase a 5-9v convertor cable (shown) and plug it into the power bank. Note the connector to the pedal needs to be centre negative! If you buy the wrong one you can always cut the lead and resolder the cable the other way round.Another point to note is its not clear as to how to use a foot switch. I tried the Lekato Turner Page footswitch shown in the adverts, but this relies on bluetooth to connect to the pedal. Unlike their 3 and 9 memory loopers, this model does NOT have bluetooth available so doesn't work. I even tried a usb to TRS cable but that didn't work either. You can use a Digitec FS3X which has three buttons for UP/DOWN drum patches/loop memories and third switch for moving between drum and loop status. In the end I just purchased a 2 button Momentary/Unlatched pedal. The Ampero Switch (Shown) is a very nice one well made and has nice switches. Note latched pedals don't work properly as their on off switched status means you have to push them twice to change things which is a pain. I wasn't really interested in changing from Loop-Drum (you can do this buy lightly touching the rotary dials with your foor anyway and I wanted a smaller pedal over the larger FS3X. I have added a video that shows how the TRS connection/pedal just needs to connect Earth/Ground to Tip or Middle to move up and down the Drum Patches/Loop memories. The Ampero one will also switch from loop to drum mode if you push both switches at the same time but you need to be precise to make it work, Probably easier to just likely touch the assocoated clicky dials with your foot. You could build one yourself, but two button pedals are cheap, just make sure you buy the right one.I reached out to Lekato as I was completely confused with the external control pedal and they confirmed that a dual momentary pedal was required, even though their ad shows their bluetooth one connected. They were quick to respond so that's good to know. They sent me an uptodate manual which shows a different cntrl pedal though I can't add a file here to upload it for you. I'll suggest they update their website pictures and put this manual one line. For the USB PC/Mac connection as others have explained you need to power it as well as having the usb lead connected. Note for Mac you also need to be running Monterey or later for the software to load. I had to update my Mac OS!Overall despite all the above, I am really pleased with this pedal.

Brilliant affordable introduction to looping.
This little gadget is brilliant.. I can run it from my usb battery pack. Also. I can customise the drum patterns through an app from my phone. The drums are great considering the price and the build quality is excellent. I have bought two loopers since as this little box has given me so much enjoyment I wondered what the more expensive ones had to offer. Would recommend this little looper for an intro into looping. I will keep this even though I now have others just because it's very small with a good selection of drum patterns and has the rare ability to customise the built in patterns. The downsides for me are.. No instant overdub.. It's press to record press to playback then press again to overdub which is still great for creating ideas and having loads of fun. And I wish it had fade out. But for the price it's a really great little looper.

What can I say!
apart from an exellent product, this looper box is very well built solid nice and clear, the rotary leds that show the position of the loop phase is a nice and eye catching, the record sounds crisp and clear and the timing is spot on, drum section is ok some high energy beats avalable, even synths and vocals sound great through this unit, one does not have to use it strictly for guitars ( try it ) Yes I would recomend this to any musician, well worth the money!

Good Pedal, let down by Lekato and no software
This pedal is the same as the Donner Circle Looper except the casing - I have the Donner one too. There are 40 slots to record to.I have numerous looper pedals, but I bought this mainly for the drums to practice along to - better than a metronome. The quality of the drums are good and don't sound artificial. You can also sync the drums to your loop with a count in.One issue with these pedals is that it doesn't store the drums in your loop, you'll have to write down the pattern used and the tempo.I have now tried the apparent software after first leaving this review a few days ago. In the manual there is a link to the software, however when you get there, there is no software!I contacted Lekato myself and I was given a real run-around, using software that is for a standard Lekato looper pedal which I already own, that software is iffy as it is and doesn't always work. This software doesn't do anything for this pedal, it wasn't detected at all. There was even an Android app, which still doesn't do anything. They seemed pretty clueless and were pretty unhelpful. So I'm returning this and buying another Donner Circle Looper for my other amp and board - their software actually works!Did I try the software for the Donner to see if it worked on the Lekato? Yep, no go, nothing detected either. If you want to copy over MP3s over to the pedal, or want to backup your recordings, stay clear. They may sort the software out eventually, but it's a bit unprofessional to release a pedal and not have the software - bit dumb too.
