Just perfect! Love it
I hope to add a photo or video tmrrw but wanted to hop on and tell you this ramp is perfect! I got my 3lb yorkie a set of those zip together storage box steps which at first sight seemed a great idea. Very sturdy and let’s face it, we fur parents never have enuf storage space. But here’s the scary thing that happened. The tops were covered tightly in velvet against a hard cardboard surface. Slick as can be. I blame myself because I didn’t listen to that quiet inner voice and let my girl try the steps anyway. Stooopid! When I wasn’t watching (but still in the room) she went flying up the steps, slipped, twisted her ankle or leg tendons fell over top step. Bad hip check. So off to vet for exrays. It doesn’t take much to injure those little bird bones of hers! Luckily not broken but wrapped tight all the way up to her arm pit. Awful experience. Vet said get her a ramp and I found this one and love it! Was considering that $179 one but like how this folds up under bed or couch. The knobby rug has fantastic traction. And yeah at full height it’s kinda steep, but after eyeballing it a while I tried putting a sixish inch basket down under the bottom and it raises it just enuf to take the edge off the steepness without adding Any wobbles or making it lean backwards. Honestly a brick would work just as nicely. I thought id miss not having a little platform /landing at the top but the three railing sets plus lifting the bottom was an easy fix. If I had my tools before moving to this old age home ugh I would add two hinges and easily make a little platform but my brave little girl is already wanting to try using it. I won’t let her till she heals a bit more though. I saw so many reviews of people jirryrigging the expensive $180 one. Adding sticky tape to the slippery shiny material, screwing or gluing wooden paint sticks to make railings. Bless their hearts. They love their pets. But this ramp has it all already. Gripping rug, three rails, and only think id wish for would be a two more rails so there’s no chance your lil one could fall off. This comes with three but id reall like to add two more on the inner side along bed. Im sincere about that request while knowing the trauma of my baby being on pain meds and having hurt herself so badly has me feeling perhaps a bit overprotective now. Those storage steps are cheap and strong but the vet bill was not cheap! And the shame/guilt I feel in not listening to my maternal instincts is a toughy you know? My Sukie runs and leaps up and down the big hill outside with such glee. I know she will love this rail so much more than steps. She already wants me to let her go for it. But if you have a less bold dog or older one you might like to try my trick of adding non slippy height under the foot of this or adding a turn around platform at the top. Easy to do. Sorry I wrote so long. Will try to send pics tmrrw. Oh and this came completely assembled. Folds very flat for storing under even a very low couch, Just really wish I could add two more rails. Seller pls think about offering that please. Oh last. I got the shorter version and it’s perfect when lifting bottom but there is a much longer less steep version same company. But this takes up hardly room at all. Hope I didn’t make your eyes cross reading this long msg. Definitely get it. It’s so great!

Works great!
I have 5 dogs and my bed is quite high, this ramp works great, I did not put up any of the rails and it did take a few days for my dogs to use it since they’ve only had the stairs but they are use to it now. I wish there was an option to purchase a black one at the time but that is the only complaint I have.

Nice pet ramp!
I bought this for my cat that suddenly became disabled after a stroke and it seems to be working good. The height of my bed is very high and she insists on being in the bed, so I like that it is adjustable! I just couldn’t find stairs high enough where she could get up AND down safely. The only thing is with the side rails… she fell right through them and it was horrible. So I had to modify the sides and pad them with a sheet I pulled taut and a stretchy fabric over it. It doesn’t look aesthetically appealing like the picture anymore, but I lowered the angle and the padding is working good! The other thing I like is that it’s carpeted, so it’s not slippery and my cat can dig her claws in. I’ve tried a lot of products and so far this one has worked the best!

Great for older dogs – sturdy and helpful
This ramp has been a huge help for my large, older dogs. It’s a bit steep when propped up to reach my very tall bed, but it still does the job. I may add some non-slip tape to the wooden cross sections since the dogs have a little trouble getting a good grip there.Overall, it’s a solid buy that gives me peace of mind knowing they won’t try to jump and risk hurting themselves. Definitely worth it for senior pups who still want to be close by.

Nice and sturdy and would work well for a sofa height
Sturdy but too steep for what I needed it for. I returned for a longer ramp that wouldn’t be so steep. Would work well for a sofa but not a bed.

False specs for weight and height
This item wasn’t tested using a dog or a tall bed. It is anything but slip resistant. At max height, my 80 lb dog was rocking back and forth and the ramp was completely unstable. Also the carpet is extremely slippery. I could my dog getting rug burns on his paws as he slipped all the way down. He could only get halfway up before slipping to the bottom. If you have a lower bed then this might be ok for you. I can get him to use it at half height.

Great for pets who need some help on the bed or couch.
This dog ramp is excellent for larger dogs! My 100-pound dog had no trouble using it, and it worked perfectly. Keep in mind that it’s quite large, so make sure you have enough space for it. The build quality is impressive, and the added carpet provides great grip to help dogs feel secure while walking up. For extra stability, we placed a 40-pound weight at the base, though the included rope for securing it under the bed is a helpful feature. Overall, a well-designed and reliable ramp!
