Replacement battery for Bose QC3

My expectations weren't especially high for this battery seeing as it was around £6 rather than the £40 Bose are asking for the official version. However, I have been very pleasantly surprised! The finish isn't quite as nice as on the official version, but as far as battery life and overall performance goes I'm more than happy. Been using for a month or so now and no issues to report at all.

I bought two of these and one simply didn't work at all. Wouldn't charge or power the headphones. The other works as well as the original battery and powered my music and films on a return flight to New Zealand (a total of 50 hours in the air). I recharged the battery in NZ but have no idea how low it had got. Worked well for me.And the dead unit, the very efficient supplier in Germany immediately refunded all costs and asked me to ethically dispose of the dead'un. Can't complain at that.

Bought 2 of these, realising that they weren't original Bose batteries, but took the risk as have had great success with many 3rd party batteries in other products before and I had accidental dropped the original battery at an airport just before boarding a plane and didn't realise until take off.These batteries where much cheaper than Bose ones, unfortunately only one of the two batteries would hold a charge. The one that didn't work would look like it was fully charged on the (original Bose) charger, but would only last 30 min once in the headphones, whereas the original battery would last several hours of solid use. After several of these cycles the charger now just flashes when I try to charge the battery. The other battery performed exactly like the original and have been using it daily for the last several months with no issues.The only other thing (and this is being a bit picky) is that the silver trim on either battery doesn't quite line up with the headphones, the curvature is just off, this isn't something you would notice at a glance but may do as you place the battery in/out of the headphones.

This battery is of a good build quality. The silver trim on the top of the battery is nearly the exact shade of silver as my Bose QC3 Headphones. The battery was tested for 4+ Hours Straight, using a YouTube musc video and the red light did not start to flash. The video volume was set on 75% Loudness for most of the time. This replacement battery is better than buying a used Original Bose Battery because you just dont know the condition of the used Bose Battery will be and how long will the battery charge will last.

So I purchase a pair of these (always good to have one charging while the other is in use). They are of course, not originals as one would expect. There are some differences physically to the originals and they don't seat well onto the headphone (see images). However, they don't fall off, so they are functional. There is a charger that is supplied with them, but it is not suited to the product, and could not be used to charge them. Looks like they supplied the wrong charger, or they expect you to use the original bose charger. The original bose charger seems to be clever enough to detect that the items were not originals, so one of the items would not charge at all. However, one did charge for a month or two. And then it also stopped.These are extremely cheap compared to the originals, but I still wouldn't recommend buying then. They are so cheap, in fact, that I didn't even return the items. Just disposed of them.

Mine didn't work!-It was loose in charger & Headphones-& curve was 'out' with 'phones. Instead of sending a new one,-they wanted it back[?]They refunded money. I have a chinese one which lasts twice as long as the original Bose one,-I'll try to get another one of these!
