Throughout the many instances in my life where I have found myself apprehensive, worried or even anxious – I’ve done my best to remedy those feelings with research. While that may not apply to everything, it certainly has for me and my significant other as we embarked on the journey of being expectant parents.The Day-by-Day Pregnancy Book is a hefty resource and to me was well worth buying. Throughout our journey towards parenthood this guide has sat very nearby and during that time served as a reference guide, definition explainer, encyclopaedia and a supportive companion. Several times it has even calmed our in the moment worries. Sometimes in life, you just have to hit the books to prepare and calm those worrying thoughts and for me this book did that.The Day-by-Day element may not have fully lined up with our own situation but as a new parent, I know that plans and expectations on this path can be subject to change and are also unique to everyone so it still did a great job of helping lay out every element of the journey. It was also quite fun to read the individual days together as a couple because the team experience here is important and has been with the arrival of our little one. As a near enough novice to the wider subjects of pregnancy and of course the medical side of things as well the definitions, it really has been a great detailed insight and a book I would recommend to all expectant parents.

Best book. Good factual detail

This is a large book and we wanted it as things have changed over the years since we had our first child. The book is right to hand and although you can use the internet, we just felt a book would be better for us. Clear and informative, this is a very useful book which can offer some reassurance and good advice.

Absolutely told me everything I needed to know and more. Was lovely to know what was coming each week and to understand what was normal and what wasn’t. Lots of tips and advice and would recommend to anyone.
