The Meross Smart Water Leak Detector is a fantastic addition to my home. Setup was easy, and it works seamlessly with Apple HomeKit. Now, this little gadget keeps watch over our sewer sump pump in the finished basement, giving me peace of mind against potential water disasters. It’s like having a loyal dog on duty—ready to alert us at a moment's notice. If you want to prevent your basement from becoming a swimming pool, this is a must-have! Highly recommend it!

Very easy to set up in the Meross app and get connected with HomeKit. Very cheap peace of mind

I recently tested the Meross Smart Water Leak Detector and found it to be a highly effective tool. It delivers prompt alerts for water leaks and integrates seamlessly with Apple HomeKit, making it a valuable addition to my smart home setup.The detector itself works flawlessly, but I did encounter some issues during setup. The main problem was connecting the USB wire to the hub. The connector piece broke off and fell into the hub, which was frustrating. However, Meross’s customer service was exemplary—they quickly resolved the issue by sending a replacement, allowing me to continue with the setup. Just a tip: be cautious when connecting the USB wire to avoid similar problems.Another area that could use improvement is the activation and pairing process with the hub. The instructions were somewhat unclear, and it would be helpful if they included a tool like a paperclip or provided more detailed examples for activation.Despite these minor issues, the exceptional customer service and the detector's reliable performance lead me to give this product 4 stars. If it weren’t for the hub issue, I would have rated it 5 stars. The detector's compact and discreet design makes it a great fit for various locations, such as under my bathroom sink. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product and would recommend it to others looking for a dependable water leak detection solution.

Setup was not consistent with other products I have on my Apple Home app. During setup I could not rename any of the 3 water sensors. The the worst part, as I made this purchase because I needed this protection, the device failed to send an alert or notification when a leak was in progress. Yes the device was sitting in a puddle of water and did nothing.

I was able to set up three sensors in a fairly short amount of time. It was best for me to setup in the Meross app first versus starting with Homekit. Meross app will ask you if you want to add to HomeKit and that worked great. The sensors by default are all labeled "leak" so best if you rename each on right way so you know which one is which. Also saw a video to just wet your two fingers to set up the sensors. The little wire thing Meross provides is to difficult to use and is not needed. Just use your fingers to touch the probes when it ask you to do that step. Note: When testing you will get critical alerts on everyones phones that are connected to your HomeKit home.

Saved us from a second basement flood so yay for at least two working correctly! One only worked for a few days and now will not stay connected to hub so I’m glad I got the 3 pack.

After a month of use one of these detected water under our kitchen sink. Sure enough there was a leak. Caught it so soon it saved potentially a lot of work and expense. Love it. Now fix your app widget lol

We set these up with our Apple Home App and even tried testing these by pouring a cup of water on the ground. Within seconds I got an emergency notification on all our devices saying leak detected. Great to have all the time but we got these to go out of town! Very easy to set up as well!
