Why does my cpu cooler not fit properly?? Anyway other than that, beautiful product, and the cooler is on, just in a weird way, its an amd cpu, and an amd cooler, a pa thermalright peerless assassin or something, anyway i just had to put the cooler attached to the backplate before screwing it in as much as i couldFyi i think i got a weird wrong backplate?? Arrived in perfect condition, very easy to build on. Bios flashed right out the box as I was pairing it with an AM5 9600x but even that was effortless. MSI Mystic Light and Ambient Link are a little bit underwhelming but works perfectly all fans synced with no hassle. So many USB ports its almost to many lol. Other than the few little niggles as mentioned very happy with it.

This board has a serious flaw: it won’t show BIOS or POST through a discrete GPU (e.g. RTX 2070). You must use a CPU with an integrated GPU to see anything. If your CPU doesn’t have one, you’ll get no display output at all — you can’t even set up your system. Disabling the iGPU causes the same issue, locking you out of the BIOS completely unless you reset the CMOS.Also unstable with four RAM sticks, even when within supported specs. I wasted hours trying BIOS updates, reseating components, tweaking settings — nothing fixed it.Plenty of users online report the same problems. MSI hasn’t addressed them. Save yourself the time and frustration — buy a better board.
