Fantastic resource on healthy eating
This is an excellent, comprehensive resource on eating principles for good health. It explains how our body metabolizes nutrients, toxins, vitamins, and minerals with an emphasis on the value of a low carb diet. The discussions were succinct, well-organized, not overwhelming, and convincing. I liked the extensive pictures and illustrations throughout as well as the section about eating for good gut health. There are many great tips in this book, and I plan to refer back to it repeatedly in my pursuit of optimal nutrition for managing my chronic illness.

Beautifully illustrated, visually compelling book on nutrition
This book is extremely well organized and well written. It supports the rationale for low-carb, ongoing diet lifestyles mainly consuming natural foods rather than processed foods. I found most interesting the discussions about quality of diet being more important than a focus on one’s weight and fat burden. Many specific diet and lifestyle aspects are dealt with in clear detail, providing a rich breadth of knowledge for even the casual reader. For anyone looking to optimize their health, this beautiful book provides much intriguing food for thought!

Informative with beautiful color photos and illustrations
The information found in this book is laid out in a way that even non-scientific readers like me can understand. The color photos and notations help explain the topic or page information, too. I found the pages with the foods and their corresponding carbohydrate counts, protein counts to be the best for me. At a glance I can see all the most common best low carb vegi's along with the protein counts from vegi's. Very helpful. The only downside to the ebook is the words are really small and I had to enlarge my page and scroll back and forth. I guess that's because of the photos. Still, the information was highly useful for learning more body metabolism.

Food for Thought
A good book for someone that is moving out of beginner mode and heading into intermediate mode in the nutrition world. There was some good info in this book that taught me about specific hormones like Leptin and a few things went over my head or I wished it was a bit more explained but all in all I got some good "aha" moments from it.

The most colorful book!
This is a very artistic book with lots of colors and pictures. Every page is engaging. Has some very practical tips like avoiding fruits in the form of juices because you would end up over consuming, since eating all the fruits in the smoothing rather than drinking it would probably be very difficult. It does go into a lot of details about what affects what and how ( and why where possible).

A Great Resource
Food for Health is a great guide to learn how to eat a low carb Keto style diet. Sofia Deloudi is so clear and obviously researched. The pictures are beautiful. If you follow her advice you will feel better and lose the weight you've always wanted to lose. I've read many nutrition books and find this one to be one of the best I've read.
