Cute game but a little cumbersome
We enjoyed the game with our grandkids age 5&11 but it tangled the string to the bug every time it was spun.

Fun but a bit startling
Fun game, but the sudden movement of the little monster retracting does scare my child a bit. The concept of the game is easy to understand, the kids were able to play right away. Overall, a good buy.

Sadly it was broken
I had to return it! The little critter was broken, the pull string would not stay out.

Kid loves it
Very simple game. 4 year old picked it up in no time. It's her current favorite board game, she loves to pet and feed the "hedgehog" as well after the game is over.Doesn't use batteries which is very cool. All mechanical, though I suppose that means its expected to break sooner. The game itself is simple, spin the hedgehog, whatever it points to you grab, hit the button a number of times matching the number on the candy, pass to next person. The "monster" snaps on a randomized number of hits, that person puts back the piece they grabbed and the highest number they have.Winner is whoever has the highest score after they all get grabbed.Only part a 4 year old needed help with was adding the score at the end. Only needs to know numbers up to 3.
