Very useful, works well
I like this magnifier setup a lot, I like the headband option, glasses falling off/out of place when working on tiny things is a serious pain. I also like all the magnification factor choices, it gives you exactly the right mag for any purpose. These make working on electronics, drones, watches, etc., easier and faster -- seeing your work clearly is make or break! I also use it to pull stickers out of my dogs, and someday myself as well, I'm sure.It isn't quite perfect though, for one thing (in a twist of irony) the mag factor markings on the lenses are difficult to see, I need the 2.5x lens to read them. If they were printed in white it would be much easier to read. Relatedly, baubling the box of lenses is a nightmare, it takes a while to get them all back in the right holes (which is essential.)And also related, the top on the box of lenses hakes two hands and a fingernail to open, you have to split it from the bottom. I'm afraid to leave it open while using a lens, as even bumping it can jostle some of the lenses out. I'm not sure what would be better, I guess I'l like to see a hinged top with a clasp, and/or rubberized holes to hold them tighter.Battery life is acceptable but not stellar, it uses 3 LR1130 coin cells for each side, if you buy one of these I suggest you order some batteries at the same time.It comes with two lenses of each mag factor, which is rather useless, you can use both 2.5x lenses together, but not any of the others. I'd be happy with one of each. And one last wish list item, a blackout lense, to block one eye would be most convenient. But all my nitpicks aside, it's still the best thing going, I'd surely buy it again.

Works as described
Arrived on time and works really well, just as described. We were a bit leery that plastic pieces would not work at all, but they do. The higher end magnifications prob won't work for crafts as you have to hold the project too close to your eye to be practical. Primarily got these for someone with low vision, and it lets them read the newspaper without having to hold a magnifier finally! There are many magnifications included, so one will certainly fit your closeup need. The LED light is a nice feature, would be really good in a power outage too. Good price for what you get, and I would definitely use this vendor again. Wish these came with an extra pair of glasses only.

Comfortable, but focal length is much shorter than advertised for the 2.5x lenses.
I was using this to get a better view of my dad's earwax, as I can't afford a 3,000 dollar wall-mounted magnifier with a true 12 inch focal length... I ended up using the 4x lenses, and they only had a bout a 4 inch focal length from the front of the lens... not too far from the 4.9 inch (12.5cm) focal length advertised, but I tried switching to the 2.5x so I could double my working room and only gained another inch or so of focal length with decreased visibility for my purpose, so I worked with the 4x lenses and got the job done without incident. These are good, don't get me wrong, but your working space will be smaller than you thinkand if you expect a real 10 inch working space with the 2.5x lenses you may be disappointed. Maybe I have bad lenses, I don't know... this was my experience.Positives:-The side-mounted lights are in great positions, very helpful. The frame itself is quite comfortable, that was a pleasant surprise.-Lenses attach easily and stay in place-Price is reasonableOverall: A good buy for the money, if you are ok with the limitations. For 30 dollars more you can get a digital microscope with a stand and digital screen that can do up to 600X zoom, and i think that's a much better tool for any kind of repair work, but if you're in love with wearing a pair of magnifying lenses then these are a good buy.

Works well but LED batteries drain FAST - 1 hour usage
This is a nice pair of magnifying glasses, but the LED lights start to significantly fade in less than an hour! They get to the point where they still work, but aren't bright enough to be useful, so you end up having to constantly change the batteries after a short period of time. They also take 6 button batteries, which are not only a pain to buy, but a lot to change. It would be a million times better if it took AAA. The short-lived light is a deal breaker because without it, you can't see anything and have to rig together an external lighting source. I'm returning this and buying one that has LEDs that STAY bright for longer than an hour. The lights are also tiny on this, so getting one with larger lights is also a must. Other than the light, the actual magnification is exactly as you'd expect. It's very comfortable to wear and the lens' are easy to change.

Effective, versatile, well designed.
I bought this for use in ceramic repairs and any other ‘close up’ work where I needed magnification and both hands free. I have not been disappointed with my purchase. The lenses are easily changed; two sets of lenses are provided at each magnification so both eyes can be equipped, or lenses can be mixed and the non working eye can be flip up and out of the way. I especially like the tiny LED lights and the easy on/off knob. Great care was taken in designing the case to secure the lenses and keep them free from dust. I really appreciated that and the inclusion of a ‘sticky’ pen to delicately remove dust particles. I’m pleased they included an elastic strap for the eye frame, since it can slip if one is sweating or if one’s head is down over the work. I can highly recommend this Qooltek magnifying product.
