well done hinges with plenty of micro adjustments. installed two for 68lb solid core door, they work just fine, and obviously are nicely hidden when door closed and look good when open. would be better if the finish shields/plugs be aluminum not plastic, but they are not. Bought second set for another door.

If you trying to get a hidden hinge. This is definitely a great product.

I’ve used another almost identical set in the past with great results, so I got this 2-pack (4 total hinges) for a new project.First, they are a LOT of work to install, as the mortises need to be cut to two different depths with curved ends. The measurements are metric, and at 25mm wide it is just short of an inch. You’ll want to install these on a door at least 1 3/8” thick or there may not be enough wood left at the edges of the mortises.On the jamb side, your mortise will go completely through nominal 1” stock, so you’ll need to make sure you can screw the hinge into the framing well. When installed properly, they are strong enough to work on a full sized solid core door. I would use 3 hinges on a 36” door or one prone to warping.I would definitely recommend practicing the installation on some scrap first to avoid ruining an expensive door or jamb.Once installed, they can be adjusted in 3 directions to get the fit just right. This also takes some work and practice. The second time will definitely go much faster than the first. If you’re going to install more than 1 set, consider making some jigs to speed the process.If you need a hidden hinge and are willing to put in the effort, when you’re done they look great.

The instructions and drawing that accompany this product are terribly inaccurate. It's impossible to tell which portion of the hinge goes in the door and which belongs in the door jamb. Plus, the drawing is not to scale, and the dimensions given in the drawing for the hinge slots are absolutely wrong!

These hinges are heavy, you can tell they have a high weight rating, and they open and close smoothly. A very detailed diagram is included showing the complex shape you need to carve out to install the hinges although the actual installation instructions are a bit sparse. The product video showing how to adjust the installed hinges to close any gaps is very helpful though, definitely refer to that. If you've never installed door hardware this will be kind of daunting but it's fairly straightforward if you have experience, just a little tricky because of the precision needed. The price seems reasonable, a lot of hidden hinges are a lot more expensive, and they feel well made. If you've always wanted a house with secret tunnels and hidden rooms these hinges are a good start to making that happen.

The hidden hinges were a disappointment due to the wrong size template being included.. it's the smaller version instead of the 7" - obviously doesn't work. Adds a lot of time to installation. Probably easier to buy from one of the many other choices that do include a working template, pretty interchangable.

These are great hinges, and when you need them for a project there really isn't any substitute. I agree with other reviews that they are a good bit of work to install and I do not recommend them for the average DIY'r as you need to be comfortable with specialized woodworking tools such as a router or several hand tools if you go that route. I also agree, if you are going to do more than even one, make a jig so that you can get them perfect and save time in the long run.All that said, when these are install on a concealed door the results are amazing! This is definitely the best way to achieve that seamless and hidden look, while still keeping the door highly functional
